I would. With no mic, and no friends, running across fields get's very lonely for me :( Admins could have the ability to mute racist people, trolls etc. I know it wont happen, but meh, i'd have it happily.

Is you spawn, there's literally 0 loot, and there's a guy or two camping the fresh spawn places for easy kills. Had 3 deaths like this in 10 minutes now. fun fun fun

so i assume things like barrels stay even after restarts? like permanent storage?

I don't even think the AK is that good.

Since the patch, i've never seen a closed door, except on sheds. Every warehouse, building, car, interior building door, is now open. I thought it was people looting, but it's literally 100% of doors, in all towns and villages, even unlooted ones. Anyone else got this?

Wait until someone comes along and kos you, and you have to start all over again. The novelty of 'survival' will have worn off after the 8th or 9th time.

Instead, all I got was hypothermia, 400 pairs of pants, 200 pairs of ttsko jackets, 20 plate carriers and some t-shirts. I went onto the gangway at the top of the main building, and you couldnt see any of the metal, it was just a huge trail of clothes, probably about 60-70 different items. Is it worth staying? I was on a low pop server, but is there combat around there? Spent 2 days getting here, dunno if i should stay. The only good thing is i came across an obvious cheater/server hopper in cherno. I ran down the road along the coast, and just saw the roof of the small jail building that always spawns tons of loot on it's doorstep. I thought i'd take a quick look, and I needed a drink. He thought he was safe, because there was only 4 people in the server. Couldnt believe it when I turned round the concrete wall and he was stood there, 15ft away with his back to me. He got a full mag of PM75. He had 3 of those yellow boxes, all smersh gear, green sks, two AK74's, and about 500 rounds of AK and SKS ammo combined. Even if he wasnt a hopper/glitcher, I bet he was pissed :lol:

Took me another 10 minutes to find some rasputin and peaches and that's it. Every house is bare, (except for f****** books) and there's not even garbage loot anymore. Also, is every door on every building being open a new glitch? Not seen a closed door yet.

Make that 4 deaths, because it spawned me in the same town about 2 blocks away from the guy who killed me the first time, dayzpls.

I spent a good half hour in cherno, looking for combat. There was the usual pile of bodies outside the red house with 4 or 5 guys stacked up outside trying to breach it. It looked fun and I managed to flank and kill 2 of the guys outside with my AK. Anyway, the FPS became terrible, I died, but was kinda happy because it's the first time in ages i'd actually had some proper combat. Spawned again, got a shotgun and a guy was obviously watching me. I was eating in a house and he ran in, I panicked and ran out. he tried to follow, didnt pull his gun but i lost him in the trees. About 10 minutes later, i saw the same guy, he ran over, gave me a high 5 and i shot him in the face with the shotgun. He obviously was friendly, he had two weapons with ammo, but just wanted to play. Only played another 10 minutes before i felt so bad, i quit. That's the problem, the circle of dicks is so widespread and encompassing, that presented with a chance to offer some dickery back, you take it. 'Gaz' I'm sorry :(

I see other people can hit me at great ease with single shot rifles, auto weapons etc, when im on the move, zig-zagging or whatever. Every single 1 on 1 fight i've been in i lost. Regardless of server or ping, hits never seem to register, people slide around a lot of the time, movements arent smooth and a lot of people are impossible to hit. Just got fired on by some bandit in cherno, he hit me twice and i got into a house. i heard him come in behind me, i was waiting for him and got the first shots off as he walked through the door about 8ft in front of me. Unloaded about 10 rounds from a cr75 into his head, he never even flinched, sort of slid towards me a bit and unloaded a couple of rounds of AK into me killing me straight outright. I have similar issues when sniping. Anyone else?

To be honest, I play without a mic, so i can excuse him for that.

Is there a way I can check which servers have the best desync rates before i join them?

Just died 3 times in a row now because it kept spawning me in Cherno. There's literally 0 loot, because the game spawns everyone in the same place. Anyway, my gripe is with the fully kitted out neckbeards who just sit in one house killing freshspawns. I fell into the trap when i went slightly near the pile of bodies they had collected by the main door, in the vain hope it was safe, seeing as there was no other loot around. Anyway, on the 2nd and 3rd Spawn, i deserved to die, because I went looking for these guys. Got one of them boxed into a corner, but 3 axe hits in the face did nothing and he unloaded his clip of silenced AK74 into me. It's just a bit annoying that the game seems to follow the same pattern with regards spawning, and loot spawns. Is it going to be better in the next patch?

Im not trolling or flaming here, but according to steam i've played 97 hours, and not a single time have i ever had a conversation with anyone in this game. The nearest i had once was a guy waved at me and ran off.

LOL at anyone thinking there's friendlies in this game. That's why all the blackout videos and so forth are so obviously staged.

Haha, make it 4 times. I got my loot back but it was all ruined. Two guys started shooting it out nearby so I ran away. Someone with a single shot weapon nailed me in two shots whilst I was running at full speed (which i find tricky to believe, as when i try and shoot people they're sliding all over the place) :/ alpha pls. Also, if i start a new character on an experimental server now, will it still be wiped when the current patch goes stable? Does everyone get wiped?

I've spent hours looking for a Winchester, to no avail. It took me half my life just to find a scope. Anyway, despite that, I have 210 rounds of MP5 ammo :huh: So, I've gotta admit, I decided to do a bit of hopping. I wanted to see how random and bizarre the loot system actually is, and it's surprising to say the least. I hopped into empty servers, and spent most of my time at NWAF and the military base to the south. I did a few Police stations too. In the space of 3 servers, I found 19 Makarovs, all In police stations. Each Station had an average of 3 or 4 Makarovs in, which alone, is unrealistic. None of the tents at NWAF had any loot at all in, with the exception of one tin of tuna. I probably found about 6 MP5's near to trucks and 2 Mosins. I found 0 Mosin Ammo, 0 9mm Ammo, 0 AK Ammo, 0 .45 Ammo and 40 Winchester rounds. Inside the wooden bunker near to the tents was equally as bizarre. In each of the three servers, this bunker had 5 UK DPM vests in, black, khaki and green. Why are there 5 vests in one Place i dont know. One of them had a 6th, a press vest too. After this, came the weird bits. I had a screenshot, but lost it :( Outside a house in Severograd, just a random nothing special house, there was a pile. There were 4 pairs of boots, 3 pistol flashlights, 2 makarov mags, 2 boxes of Shotgun ammo, a CR75 mag, and 2 cans of drink. Just as I came to the end, I made my last stop the military base to the south of NWAF. Here I found a Pink Derringer in one of the barracks. There's a small tiny jail building on the outskirts by the entrance. Here I found another pile.... This time is was UK DPM vests again. But there was only 3. But then I checked them, and these 3 had their own 2 vests in each one. So in fact there were 9 vests just sat by the door of this place. Oh, and another 2 pistol flashlights :huh: Lastly, I found 0 weapons in any of the fire stations, and also of considerable note, every 'solid' building at NWAF and Military bases (jails, barracks etc) were all totally empty, every single time. So, i suppose there's an argument that some of it may have been looted, but i tried to pick servers that looked like they might have had a recent restart. All in all, it's a bit odd and weird, but there you go, that's Dayz. The best thing i found was a mosin, with PU scope, ghille wrap and compensator. I guess this was left by somebody else. Just a shame i've never seen Mosin ammo. I know this is a bit long winded, but meh, I thought i'd share it anyway. What's the strangest loot spawns you've seen? Oh, and I'm still without a Winchester. >:(

Ugh, is there definately a wipe coming? I've spent ages gearing up to the level of loot im at now.
