There are none as of yet. Your group is finding your friend then moving along. There are no set grouping options implemented yet.

Sucky. All the servers I play on always give a 5 minute warning then count down from there. Coulda just been admin spite. Choppers are fun, but rarely the story ever ends well for the people involved.

I like the idea of more varied infected.. skins and possible types of movement. However, these examples don;t really fit or instill fear in me at all. 1# OK not a terrible idea, but completely avoidable by anyone used to sneaking around. 2# Just no.. These are infected people and not really zombies according to the dev team. Plus just more L4D than DayZ, you know. 3# I'm cool with zombies having loadouts at times (military having guns sometimes, etc).. but this guy would just be funny to kite around then take the stuff from.

Ok lets fill your examples full of holes.. as it were. #1. If you read the story fully it states firstly it was a 22 caliber rifle. This does not compare to a 45 slug or a 7.62 round. Secondly, it clearly states every shot missed vital organs. 2 rounds missed his heart by 2 inches. How can you compare this to what we are talking about? Had it been a 45 or god forbid larger caliber.. his chances of survival were like 100million to 1. Also if you read it, it incapacitated him after the first round hit his leg. The rest was just trying to finish the job. How does this compare to emptying a m1911 clip into someone and them skipping happily away within the game? #2 and #3. Even by the statistical average you gave, only 9.7% survived a single heart shot. How does that justify your claims of "in most cases".. sounds like 9 out of 10 times you are screwed. Also, any basic person with understanding of ballistics or wounds will tell you a knife wound is very different than a high impact round. hense why 30+% can live from a stab to the heart. The wound patterns are nothing alike.. not even in the least. The kinetic energy alone is off the charts different even in the smallest calibers compared to a knife stab. A stab in many cases closes somewhat, or just enough to prolong the life of the victim. Hense higher survival average.. just still pretty far from "most people live" as you seem to try and convince us. Your arguments are invalid by your own admissions here.

So because you posted a couple examples of the exceptions.. you know everything? Millions of people die from guns every year. Get a statistical average from the WHO on location of impact and mortality in those cases. IE: Headshot and heart penetration. Caliber range and other factors, then claim you "win the fight".

To survive with what? Medical attention, surgery and a ton of luck. Recovery time from just one bullet is generally a long period, let alone 7. You can die with a 22 round in the leg in real life, this is stating the fact of getting an artery blown and bleeding out. The fact of the matter is, in most cases 1 good shot anywhere vital will put you out of a fight. It may not kill you right away but you are going down. Arma did a good job of simulating this. Now you can take 5 45 rounds to the chest and just jog away happily. This is the problem.
