First off. Full Voice / Side Chat is not currently against the rules if it ever is then it will be removed. If your in-game name is Dom then be aware that someone reported you to me yesterday saying you were hacking and teleporting around, if that is the case and I find it in the scripts.logs I will forward it on to the dayz devs. I will agree we have had a lot of hackers running around on our server lately but nothing can be done about that im afraid other then banning them. Hey all, Dallas 3 server host here. Just recently got the server online and am stress testing it right now at 50 players to see how it handles. So far so good. I plan to turn it into an expert server / hardcore mode type thing with no thirdperson or friendly nametags and crosshairs. Let me know your feedback and if you have any issues. Loving the new line of sight and zombies they feel perfect now. Also love how you start with nothing basically. I had to run through elektro to avoid zombies, hide in houses and sneak out the back and it all worked flawlessly for the most part. Also seemed to have less players / deathmatch going on in elektro and cherno due to this so it seems to be working perfectly, please DO NOT change it back this is awesome.

To bring back the sense of survialism and to stop this PvP fest and make people work together again the game needs to be harder. To be clear I have no issue with bandits but its just too easy to kill people right now and get the best weapons once you figure it out. You should start off with just a pistol and 1 magazine, no backpack, no food, no water cantine just a fucking pistol. Make the best guns harder to find at random spawns around rare locations on the map, off in some fucking forest or in a hollowed out tree and not ALWAYS spawn there, but be a random chance or random spawn that moves around on server restart. Right now I can just go the airfield and farm barracks and be set in a few minutes to get a decent weapon. Make the zombies harder, make more unique types? Maybe a L4D style boomer zombie that explodes and damages players around him. Anything to increase the survival aspect and teamwork and less catering to these carebears.

I had a weird issue with my monitor pogram that would create a second instance of the server as if it thought the first one crashed when it indeed had not. This of course caused both servers to crash as my box isn't built to handle two servers. Seems to (i hope) have been fixed in 0.7.4 of the monitor.

Since the raid on our camp we have killed Toncom,zanderflex and ham multiple times. They actually almost found our second camp. Personally I find it fun to have a rival group hunting us its a unique part of the game.

I am the host of Dallas 3. My server was setup by the DayZDev team earlier yesterday and since then people have been able to connect, get their ID etc and get passed loading but all seem to hang on "Waiting for Server Response" I have yet to change any of the configs or any of the default settings applied since it was installed. I can connect fine to other US and Euro servers so it must either be on my end or something didn't go right int he install. If any other server hosts know how to get this fixed please shoot me a PM or a reply. Greatly Appreciated, Thanks.

People need to learn what an alpha is. Give them time to add more content. You wouldn't still be playing if it wasn't fun.
