Even though mod zombies were glitched as fuck, I still enjoyed their big number. I would like to have a big horde of glitchy zombies that are a big threat rather than none. I know we will have more zombies once theyre fully fixed but while the devs are working on the zombies I would like to still have the glitchy zombies in large amounts rather than no zombies at all. Also would like to see something like this someday...

if i didn't read forum and I stopped playing the game in December 2013 and played again today, I would have no idea there were updates at all -
I loved emissions in stalker call of pripyat, especially with atmosfear mod. In dayz something similar would be amazing but it bet it would take years to do something like this if we don't want just a screen changing a color from normal to a brownish and that's it.

I was trying to say that I will get excited when I see it all in game not on slides. How many times did we get slides with things that were supposed to happen but instead got nothing? Im not talking about DayZ in particular but games like Starforge, the dead linger etc

I shot a non moving person in the chest from 2 meters away and the bullets went through his body and hit the wall behind him but didn't injure him as if he was a ghost so its not a bug, it's just military simulator? -
Then this thread is only so everyone can tickle every box, because all the options are something good for the game so why would someone leave let's say all but one box unticked if all of them are good? If "adding more zombies" wins the poll does that mean we do that and don't do any of the rest of the poll?

There is so many public servers, I guess a good 70% of them are empty or have 1-2 players. This allows for easy server hopping and getting loot without any danger from other players I think there should be lets say 5 official public servers hosted by the devs or some other host in each zone so for example 5 in US East, 5 in West, 5 In Europe etc. (Add more if there's a need) Then other than those official public servers it should all be private hives that players can host This would fix the problem with 1000000 empty public servers that people only use to loot military bases and areas that are supposed to be "dangerous" without any danger. It feels like cheating

The main reason for this is because there's fuckton of everything everywhere. They could as well just hand you all weapons, ammo and gear upon spawn because you're gonna get it in 10 minutes from spawning anyway so what's the difference When something is very rare you value it, when they make weapons and ammo extremely rare, when you get a mosin and 5 bullets you will be like "Oh man I got a mosin and 5 bullets I really don't wanna die because a treasure like this could never be in my hands again"

Well since this is DayZ and Arma 2 engine they can just take a helmet and retexture it to look like a hood

All bases should be destroyable/accessable by strangers, there should be little security stuff like locks or maybe walls but the main and biggest "security system" would be hiding it in a place where other people wont find it. We need to expand the map for that because on public hives you go to a server thats always empty and put a base there, and no one will ever find it as no one plays there so you just use that server to go to your base and go to another server to shoot. But on private hives there will be tons of bases everywhere, those who want to play on a private hive need a bigger map. Chest that have a lock could broken into with a fireaxe or a gunshot to the lock. (as ammo would become very rare, a person who only has 5 bullets and that's considered alot, would think twice before shooting a chest which could probably be empty or have trash in it) Safes wouldnt be accessable unless you know the combination or maybe blow it up with TNT and it would obviously seriously damage whats inside

Constant complaining about things keeps reminding devs that there is a problem and they need to solve it If you shut up and never point out a games flaw it will be shit The stupid "dont like it then just shut up" mentality is what kills games And this thread is just constructive criticism, this thread is very good

Try to make a working zombie game with all the good animations, no desync, no bugs, good optimization, on an arma 2 engine If you succeed in less than 5 years (if you succeed at all) let me know. I am honestly scared because I know arma 2 engine but i also trust the devs and have faith they will overcome the HUGE challenges of the engine (even rocket himself said the engine is making lots of extra work to do simple things)
