Why are there no basements and caves in DayZ?
hooligun replied to cptavpr0metheus's topic in General Discussion
one thing i LOVED about namalsk was having to get low, down and dirty in that underground base, with one way in and out lol we need dark, underground CQB in this game please was the shit -
i see where you're coming from but don't forget the game you're playing. it comes with guns, grenades, ways to restrain, surrendering, poisoning.. list goes on. what you consider harsh is perfectly fine and expected from the dev's. not saying everyone should be a bandit, i play PvE SP hermit style sometimes too.

not really, sorry who says the guy didn't get to a energized and hydrated state before OP stuck him up? at least he let him keep his health you get 3 likes from me and my 3 youtube accounts

looks like an average day in the coastal deathmatch scenario
-
sounds like fun dude wish i could go back to being a new player again

i would be down for a ~5min rest at a bed, nothing too extreme though.
-
yeah but not weapon flashlights, which imo should be the easiest/quickest light

If you know or are close to a real life cyclist you would NEVER post something like this. You're also a spineless and shameless troll cash. You're the guy who when I said I was a cyclist told me to grow up and buy a car and had your post removed. I hope everyone who "hates" cyclists for no good reason here are weak unhealthy people who will die a horrible death hooked up to machines breathing through tubes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A couple years ago I decided I wanted to test myself physically on the bike and use some of the survival skills I learned from survival shows and videos. So I planned a solo self sustained camping trip on my bike 70 miles and 5,000 feet of climb to a state park outside New York City. I carried an ultra light tent and all my gear on my back including food and a solar panel and kept the weight under 25 pounds. I used many tricks learned to improve my campsite like batoning branches and submerging foods in the lake in sealed bags to keep them fresh. The site didn't have potable water so I had to get to a ranger station with my 2 liter hydration pack every time I ran low. SURVIVE. Now I have a real bug out bag and can be out of the city regardless of traffic in very short order with everything I need to try to make it out into the wilderness.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I ride 400 miles a month to work and to visit friends and family. I am 90 pounds lighter, rugged, and my stamina for all things is massive. MASSIVE. My girlfriends love it. Cycling is a glorious lifestyle and the answer to many many problems in our world. Obesity and pollution are merely the obvious first benefits. he's not talking about IRL dude, relax...

TIL that DayZ runs much smoother on Windows 10.
hooligun replied to Grimey Rick's topic in General Discussion
why would it be better? curious -
not sure what you mean exactly but arma in general has always had a weird camera view that some people just cannot play with. i've had a few friends that just get motion sickness playing this game or any arma game. make sure you have post processing effects disabled, helps a little

keep the ak74u toss mp5 keep cr527 untill u find the winchester 70
-
unfortunately, Berezino is still where all the action is and until the devs want to put something in the map to encourage people to go inland, or discourage coastal deathmatch, it will remain that way. atm Berezino and all other major coastal towns have everything you'd ever need, so why leave? guns, packs, pants, meds, food, military weapons and accessories, etc. lol

yes its a good sniper for pvp, not as good as .308 winchester 70 or 7.62 x 54mm mosin 9130, but still good enough. i'd say mp5 because higher fire rate(i think?) for CQB, but both will do great.
