Hi everyone, started playing DayZ again on private hives which has shook the game up and I can play it a bit more crazily or go for the survival horror experience dependant on experience. The server I'm on now is a mix between both but one restart saw all vehicles etc return fully repaired, which led to some good fun. I did unfortunately missed ramming a gunship with a littlebird and surviving though :( The plane part had me laughing for a good 10 minutes afterwards.

I've quit the game pretty much due to hackers, I can't play without dying to them or having my enjoyment ruined. It's ridiculous.

There was a ban wave today so a lot of hackers are logging in and seeing their account banned.

Hi mate, this did indeed happen (I was online). Looked through the logs but the amount of player and data in that few seconds made it hard to tell what happened or pinpoint who had done it. We shut the server down for a few minutes to save and inspect logs as is our usual policy with hackers.

I made a fix, and you can basically alt+enter twice. Give it a try, and if it works please share it around! It's worked for tons of people I know, and clears up artifacting pretty well.
