If they bring in radios they'll need channels as well. That way when you and your clan think your on the "safe" channel 43, some bandit has his radio set to SCAN carefully listening to all the chit chatter.

Um... K Anyways I play Arma II/Dayz with the Fx-6100 and its runs amazingly. I have it paired with a XFX Radeon HD 6870 w/ 2 gbs of Vram on an M5A99X Evo Mobo with 8gbs of Corsair Vengeance ram.

Its terrible that this amazing event (wish I would have known) had to be ruined by POS hackers with no since of fun and a good time involving anything peaceful. I really hope this can be a message for Rocket to fix ghosting. No reason for people to be able to warp in the middle of this and ruin it. Oh well, next time you guys are hosting I'll try to plan on being there passing out GPS and NVGs to all that show up for the good time.

Sometime, Rocket and Co. should host some sort of Dayz Tournament. Something like 6-8 teams of 3-4 people are all brought together and placed on a locked server at the same time. The objective being to be the last team standing or team with most player kills combined. Play period should last about 12 hours and should start at about 3pm. That way it would be a good mix of day/night play. Prizes could be simple, free server for a year or whatever. What do you all think?

Honestly it seems some loot is way to easy to find now. I remember it took ages for me to find decent loot in supermarkets and such. Now every time I go in one there are Alice packs and maps all over the place. When I first started it took me a few days to even find a map. Even then once I had it I still never could find a compass to even use it. I straight up had to learn how to navigate using landmarks! When was the last time you played a game like that? My first Alice pack game from when some guys (whom now I play with) needed an epipen and that was about a week in. I love this game I really do but it seems the challenge is wearing off. Maybe cus we have two big vehicle camps and just about every piece of loot in the game including a portable generator and antibiotics! Believe me, we have worked hard for what we have gained, however, with the tents duping things we pretty much have unlimited amounts of gps and nvgs and everything. And we dont even want it to be like that because it really takes out the challenge and when the challenge is taking out it gets stale.

Yes, this. Me and one of our group were crawling through Zeleno one cloudy night and I just happened to look behind us and there was just a bloody dude standing right behind my buddy for just like a split second then disappeared. I screamed like a little girl over the mic then just started running. Few moments later I was just laughing and my buddy was like "what?" and I was like "Haha nothing man." Still, just thinking about it creeps me out and gives me chills. Fuck that bloody ghost man.

I've been raiding a camp everyday after a server reset because all the good stuff I have taken just keeps on coming back.... It is bad to have to come here and complain about getting infinite amounts of gps, nvgs, range finders, m107s, and AS50s.... It kind of ridiculous really.

No... I can see so many problems with that. Spawning in water/off the map, spawning in really dangerous areas, spawning in the middle of a "hidden" camp. Honestly people should be able to log in right where they left off.

Got a freezing zombie problem which they all just stand still, and some inventory reverts and such but nothing major...

Well I'm very happy to help you out. If at all possible I would suggest taking a look at the 8 cores, those are really nice and compare with the mid/highish tier i7s. Of course you can always upgrade as well. There is also a newer version of the 6 core which is the FX-6200 and its a little better optimized and what not and is at stock clock 3.8! The thing about building computers is new stuff is always coming out and it can get a little overwhelming and times.

Built my computer about 3 months ago. Cash was tight so I went with AMD which isn't a bad choice. Asus M5A99X EVO AM3+ Mobo AMD FX 6100 (6 cores oc'd to 4.1ghz) XFX Radeon 6870 w/ 2gb of vram 8gb of Cosair Vengence 1600mhz 500gb Western Digital HD 680watt Apevia PSU First thing I did was test out Crysis. Coming from a "gaming" laptop the Asus G72 which ran Crysis on medium/high settings. I was pleasantly surprised when this build ran it on ultra with no hiccups and all for around $900 to build it. Runs through The Witcher 2 all high settings, Skyrim on max with some hi-res texture mods. As far as Arma II, the FX-6100 can handle some pretty massive battles with little trouble. Dayz is cakewalk. That price is not including software and all the extras like a 5.1 Logitech surround or monitor. All in all I'm about $1400~ in and still planning on adding to it. You can pick up the better 8 cores for low $200 now.

To be honest, that whole system is lacking in specs and with Arma being a power hungry monster, there is not much you can do short of buying a computer that's got some beef.

You shouldn't advertise to new people when your character has top tier equipment. To be honest I think that is going to turn off the people that can't even find a gun.

Honestly I think there should be like a 30 second to 1 minute timer to log off unless your next to a fire or your own tent in which it would be instant.

I've been enjoying this wonderful game for a few weeks now. However just one small question that I just can't seem to find an answer for. Are helicopters spawning in servers now or not? I've checked every spawning point probably fifty damn times now. Thank you guys.
