If he has whitelisted it or he kicks you it would give you the notice.

Could be the permissions are messed up, usually a server restart will fix that. I would verify your files etc too just to make sure, try it later/tomorrow and it will have restarted, if you still can't connect then, you will need the server owner to repair permissions, if you know who to contact? If not leave a comment on their GT I guess.

In all the hours I have played DayZ this is the first time this has happen to me, and it was such good fun! :D

The official public servers have always been relatively low population from what I have seen, mainly down to them not having this amazing "high loot" lol :P Personally I used to have my community base on a official server due to the low pop then play on rented servers with good admins for action. The way it is now we are actually looking to hold more PvE type events on the official ones. I think it is good that they're separate to edge new players in slowly, not to mention I doubt anyone will target them when it comes to hacks/glitches, so maybe we should just give it some time :)

I had a few requests on my channel for a guide to dealing with infected and saw some posts asking about it on the forums so thought I would share it. It is aimed more at new players but maybe there are some tips in there for others too, I hope you find it helpful.
