Well I was hoping to be being a top of the range desktop to run DayZ effortlessly but hey, shit happens and that is not going to be an option for a while now and I simply cannot continue playing on my crappy laptop lol. Anyway I was looking at this computer and as I am new to the whole PC gaming scene I thought I would ask for some advice. I know this will not be the best graphics etc out there, but it should be steady enough right? I am looking at recording/streaming also, anything in particular I need to look at for that, hardware wise I mean? Thanks in advance Mad

Personally I think it is right how it is now as people would scavenge and steal them if this was real, but maybe the location of the parts should change? Would it not be more realistic to have them in the petrol stations or garages? Then again the sheds are also good as that is where I kept my motorcycle stuff thinking about it, but yeah add them to petrol stations I reckon.

The date only changes in the loading screen when you are connecting to the server I think. And I am guessing the time cannot be changed then? Let me know what they say :)

Ah right ok, I am with them too but a private server. As I see it it doesn't matter what you set the date too, as it only affects the loading screen, default is October something I think, so you can change it to what ever you like. If your not too sure you can always send the GD guys a support ticket, I know it says they are there between 10:00 - 22:00 but I just got a reply so they are about :)

I am sure it is out of your hands now since 0.58 man, as the devs handle the restarts if I am right, I will have a look what I can find and get back to you. What company are you with?

Yeah I had something similar a while back, NWAF, only three cows but boy did they freak me out, was dying of hunger at the time but was so unexpected I didn't think to shoot them, just watched them run off into the distance! Lol

Are you on about restart times? Or having your server start at a specific time like each day or something like that?

Persistence is great, and the the new vehicle shizz too, all very interesting if you ask me, oh and having batteries back also, I have never used a radio etc but again, is fun!

Yeah I got that figured out in the end dude but my laptop is not good enough to run it and the game, can't wait to get my custom build! Roll on October! Lol

Hey guys, my private server is around 25 minutes out from normal time, I have contacted my host but they are not sure what it is "Maybe just a DayZ thing" is the response, just wondered if anyone else is having this issue? Or knows how to fix it? Thanks **UPDATE** I have moved IP to see if that helps, but they think it may have been the "Persistence Time" option being on, which saves time to storage, does anyone know what that means?
