I run my own server and would like to see the history of people killed and by who they were killed. I dont want the server to announce who killed so because thats just stupid. I have multiple players complaining of being killed by another player that is clearly not even close to view distance from them (3 players died at the same time). I would like to watch the kill history to see if its the same person and how often he is getting kills. I believe this would be an easy way to spot obvious hackers/cheaters. I use Bercon.exe currently to send admin messages to the server....is there anything else I could use to obtain this goal?

I have a server hosted from HFBservers.com and they provide me with a server console through their control panel. Is there a way to send admin messages to all players on the server through that console? Or perhaps while playing on the server I can login to an admin account of some sort and message the server that way? The reason I ask is because I like to give a 10 minute warning before restarting the server. If someones in the wrong place at the time of a restart then that could lead to their death. "The server will be shutting down in 10 minutes for a quick restart. Please reach a safe spot by then" I usually send a message like that.

Let break this crap down so it doesnt look like a down syndrome baby wrote this. 1. Why do other players show up as a little yellow dot on my map that says "man" when you scroll over them? Does this have anything to do with me having a gps and a map? Can the other players also see me as little yellow dots? Does this have anything to do with both ME AND the YELLOW DOT PLAYER having a gps? 2. Why do some players show up as a big blue dot when they are near me? Again, does this have anything to do with having a gps and map? 3. If I mark a place off on the map, the blue dot player can also see this on HIS map...why is this?

I ask myself the same damn questions.

Is there a way to turn off the "Has died" message in the chat? My servers global and side chat are off but this remains on.

Ok cool cool, I found a setting called "deathmessages"....thats most likely it I assume.

That brings me to another question....do difficulty settings ACTUALLY make the game any more difficult? Or is it just about the settings placed within that difficulty setting? Zombies dont hit for more or have more hp or anything along those lines...correct?

So where the hell can I get this DayZ shirt...want the one in the middle? Any plans for them to actually come on sale?

I have done EVERYTHING. I have the latest mission file(according to my host, and I have to take his word because he wont give me my instance ID to update it.) I FORCE the latest beta patch on the server. I uploaded the beta folder from my install to my server. WHAT THE HELL ELSE MUST I DO!?!?!

Do I have to get my server whitelisted? I am the host of Seattle 56..and my hosting company seems to be stubborn and wont give me my instance ID. Am I supposed to obtain my instance ID on my own? or are they supposed to provide it?
