I'm thirsty as fuck for some PVP but almost everywhere my squad goes is empty,even on high pops. Myshkino, empty. Zelenogorsk,empty. Not interested in Cherno,we've been to that city enough. So where should we look for PVP?

Completely agree with Rags. In .59, helicopter crashes spawn basically the same thing as the tents at NWAF. I've checked 20+ heli crashes and I typically find boots and jackets, and I've found one UMP which was hardly worth the time. Never found an SVD, VSS, FAL or AUG. Why would I go hunting for hours on end for helicopters crashes if I can just go to myshkino, get some combat gear and an SKS within minutes and fight people? What's the damn point of searching heli crashes? It takes 10 hours of searching to get anything useful out of helis, and then you get put down in one shot by some freshie with a magnum 10 minutes later. If you want me to go search helicopter crashes and boat crashes then please, devs, please stop being so stingy with the damn loot.

I couldn't give a toss what they add to DayZ so long as they optimise the game and get the core mechanics working by the end of 2016.

Looked in boats from cherno to komarovo, they don't spawn anywhere. Where do I look for them?

I agree, My friend and I were in Cherno and we came across a freshie. He kept trying to get into the house we were camping in and kept yelling 'Merry Christmas' but he wasn't aggressive. We talked to him and told him we would not kill him if he kept his distance, and he gave me a smersh vest/pack and gave us some intel about a group of bandits that were currently in Cherno. Be friendly, don't kill freshies!

I'm wondering what the best way to find heli crashes is? I know heli crashes aren't static anymore, so I need to know how many spawn per server and how often heli crashes respawn. Also, what's the best way to find them?

Being a sniper, I'm looking for good towns that are rich in ammo, guns and clothing. However, I also need food, water and medical supplies. Industrial loot would also help, since I need an improvised backpack. Thanks!

Hi, I have switched from being a sniper in .59 because of how much of a pain in the ass it is to find winchester rounds. I also find sniping pointless unless I'm with a team, so I've decided to start using assault/soldier loadouts. I could use some help finding good weapons to use in firefights. My current loadout: Primary: AKM with polymer/plastic primary attachments Secondary: AKS74U+Red 9 Grenades + Flashbangs TTsKo pants/jacket, Complete plate carrier, ballistic helmet Melee: Machete I've never really used an 'assault' loadout like this because I've always been a sniper. Sorry if this is a terrible choice of weapons, I made this thread so I could get help. Is this a good choice of weapons? Anything I should add/remove/improve? I'm not sure if I should drop my AKM and pick up an AK74, and then switch my AKS with an MP5. I am also considering replacing my Red 9 with a CR, or a Glock if Glock 19s spawn in stable. What loadout do you use? Also, I need help finding guns like UMPs, AUGs and M4s. I'd much rather have an M4 or an AUG instead of an AK class rifle, and I'd rather have a UMP instead of an AKS. I've looked in Quonset/Officer huts for UMPs but they don't seem to be spawning. I've found lots of UMP mags but not UMPs. I know that M4s and AUGS spawn exclusively at heli crashes but I can't find any helicopter crash sites, so if you have any tips for finding heli crashes then please share them. Thanks for any replies!

Thank god this thread exists. Almost every low pop server I try to join kicks me. My friend lost his AK74 a couple of days ago, because he dropped his AK while he was drinking at a fountain. While he was drinking, the cuntlord admins kicked him, so now he no longer has his fully loaded AK...

Realistically, M4A1s should spawn a little more often because Chernarus has a lot of NATO influence if you've played the Arma games. M4 could be nerfed so it's more accurate than AKs, but AKs do slightly more damage, and it should be spawning more in officer's tents and prisons as a RARE/UNCOMMON spawn. However, M4s shouldn't spawn outside of a military installation (unless they add gun store buildings to the game). You'd be much more likely to find sub machineguns and perhaps a couple sniper rifles in police stations than you would find M4A1s.

Yeah, I snipe as part of a group. There's no point sniping lone wolf, what's the damned point? I would just be wasting ammo and being an asshole if I KoSd for no reason. I always keep an MP5 handy in case I need some CQC.

Hey, I met some random person in Cherno who saw that I was bleeding. I was a fresh spawn at the time and I was bleeding out from a zombie wound. He offered me some bandages and went on his way. If that person is seeing this, I was the one who was wearing a clown mask and green t shirt and jeans. Good to see players are working together again in .59!
