Netting wasn't spawning in 0.55 but it was hotfixed. It's still not configured though so it'll be spawning everywhere, not just in boats.

I'm a mix of survivor and bandit. I don't trust anyone, so I lone wolf it. I prefer to avoid others and if I see someone I might leave them be, but if the opportunity presents itself, I have no qualms with killing them for food and supplies.

Sorry, not everyone changes servers in order to server hop. Something else could cause them to disconnect randomly, like the frequent, regular, unannounced server restarts that they didn't see coming. Hello? Is anyone even here? No message received for 15 seconds

Your character is gone because your client can't reach the hive where it is stored. If you don't play and wait until the DDoSing stops, you will get your character back.

So I found a makarov mag and nearly died to a gate that just about bit off my leg. Makarov SDs do not take regular magazines, so I dropped it. I'm just gonna stick with my PDW and M9SD mags, because they're more common.

If I open the crafting menu, put an empty whiskey bottle, rags, and a jerry can in the grid, and don't get molotovs, then I'm never crafting again until the SA.

I came back to this thread expecting a lot of "lol stop being attached to your gear scrub" posts, and was pleasantly surprised. I guess it's nice knowing that it's how a lot of other people feel too.

It's not because I'll lose it. If I die (unless it's from a hacker), then it's my fault and I deserve to lose it. I don't want to lose my gear because I don't want others to have it. I have a lot of nice things and I'm sure everyone on the server I frequent would start a manhunt if they knew that I had multiple antibiotics on me, and although hunting other players is an exhilarating challenge, I know that my 65 day surviving streak will eventually come to end, and someone will grab the spoils. And that irks me. Even the thought that the looter will probably die and lose it in the next five minutes anyway doesn't bring much comfort, I don't know why. It's not just for DayZ, but for any game where someone could get my stuff by killing me. Runescape comes to mind when I played it several years ago. it's not too much of a problem since I'll very quickly get over it when I die, but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

I was hoping someone would provide an answer instead of arguing semantics. I'll just hang on to the gun until I find a Makarov magazine and then post the answer myself.

Do you know which weapons were affected? The PDW still takes M9SD mags, but I found a Makarov SD with only one mag, and wanted to know if it still took nonsuppressed magazines.

Should've axe murdered him from behind while he was distracted. Footsteps on grass are surprisingly quiet to other players. But I know how you feel. I've wuss logged before.

AS50 simply because it's superior in every way, but I'd take the M107 just for the sound it makes. One time I was running through Elektro, and someone fired off an M107. I didn't know what it was at the time, and I just thought "Holy shit, who's firing a railgun?"
