nowadays i'm far to wary of anyone that finds me and is armed. by the way that guy was speaking he was definitely going to kill anyone and then act like a hardass for doing so even though he's actually just playing like a pansy. didn't play yesterday as i've been playing resident evil 4 (just got to babysitting ashley, yay..) but before that i was helping a friend regear. we looted balota airfield and he managed to snag some 308s for his winchester and i found a mosin i had lost thanks to the weapon swap glitch. later inside the town i see a player. My friend hadn't noticed yet and the guy was clearly going after him. i let off a few rounds in his direction and land a couple hits but was short on breath. the guy shoots at me and injures me quite a bit and ruins my m65 jacket (always the jacket man..) so i duck inside a house and see my friend in there. having a feeling he'd shoot me on accident i take it cautiously and slowly enter the room. one legshot later i'm unconscious. every time i play with anyone else.. he gets me back up though and we start working on a plan. thus far, we're slightly outgunned as i'm too injured for a direct fight and he lacks an automatic. we've come to far to loose what we have as it was getting late. so decide to move from house to house for constantly changing vantage points and location. it works fairly well. we see that its 2 guys. one likely more geared than the other (like us). my friend manages to finish off one guy after opening the front door and firing from downstairs in the kitchen. the guy drops, we change positions and he grabs his ak74. after some scouting around we see that the other guy must've left and we go on our way. soon i have to go and i bid him farewell for now. damn good time.

i actually watched a couple streams last night. both were stream sniped essentially the entire time. the first guy by hackers of course.

i've had several close quarters gunfights and they have been some of the best. although playing cat and mouse with a sniper is damn good fun too. the above advice is basically all you can do. always aim dead center of the chest. if you're lucky the recoil will give you a headshot. leg shots are better at a range since they cripple. although i'm pretty sure that most people just get a kick out of seeing a guy fall over and struggle. another bit of advice is train yourself not to do a freakout "holy sh*t someone shot at me!" jerk.

after getting healed and replacing my damaged gear i set back on the path i had taken previously. i look through electro on a 30 pop server. no one there surprisingly so i take off down the road to cherno. eventually i see a player running ahead. not too geared, gun on his back and a child briefcase. he loots a group of houses to the left and i follow hoping to get an interaction. i have no idea which house he went into so i just walk into the nearest hoping to snag a can of food or soda. turns out hes in there. so i run into the next room instead of doing what most people do and shooting him immediately. he decides to pull his axe out. great. 5 shots from my aks and he's down. no harm to me. i simply tell him it didn't have to be that way and continue to cherno. did not see a single soul there. so i decide to call it a night.

Unfortunately i l was just about to do some pvping but whilst running to a hospital in cherno i was hit in the leg and shortly after the chest and went unconscious. luckily the guy didn't shoot a 3rd time. i got up, morphined my leg, ran to a while and logged out while noting that i have the worst luck. i see that my pants and vest are ruined but all items are fine thanks to protector cases. i work on getting healed and finding new pants, debating whether not to replace my vest. (its usefulness having been proven). while looting this afternoon i did kill a player at nwaf. he was toting a gun but had nothing in his hands. i shot at him as soon as i saw him not trusting him for a single second since i was killed there while looting last night. I felt a little bad but thems the bricks.

well once again i'm fully geared and even had some fun today. while passing through cherno i saw a few player but kept my distance. 2 followed for a time and i made sure they didn't get too close as i had no helmet and nice gear. while making my way out of a city i notice an afk player. then i had a funny idea. i was going to handcuff him, give a nice pink jacket and leave him there. i even screen shotted it for your entertainment. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198139666285/screenshot/357274991571561465. later on i get a nice mag for my ak74u and sposn backpack. shortly after my character randomly drops the ak74u. great.. i liked that mag.. i picked up another and jumped to a different server (i normally don't server hop but it was 2 a.m.) i poke around in the barracks building by the quonset hut and i find nothing. i move to the hut and see a player standing there having just hit the log out button. i don't know what possessed me to do so but i pulled out my glock and shot him in the face. fortunately he had an ak74 with just the mag i desired. i take that and the polymer stock and slap them on my ak74u and decide i've had my fill. Not a bad night.

well i go to cherno as per usual and i end up playing friendly. i hear gunfire and there's a fresh spawn nearby. i decide to help him out and clear any dangerous players. later in front of the police station theres now 3 fresh spawns and some guy with a shotgun shoots me in my arm but i gun him down quick. having heard nothing inside the station and also having observed it for a while and saw nothing i run in to patch myself up. turns out 2 jerkoffs were camping it and acted like hardasses for doing so. much later in time im back in cherno looking for revenge. having a glock and a rak. they've all left though and it's just me and 2 less geared friendly. some guy tried to shoot me with a bow (points for trying and nearly hitting) i gun him down and the others get the friend he had. i decide that it's time for me to go and log off. as i'm running to the treeline i take a shot to the leg. Knowing it came from construction, i roll to the wall and take a gamble and log there. I come back later and i'm surprisingly still alive. After a long time of looting i finish off the airfield. i had switched servers after a shower and there's only 1 or 2 other people on. as i'm running i'm instantly knocked out. that's never happened before and i heard no shot. shortly after i hear a voice saying "what's up man" and then i get the dead screen and a headache. No idea what happened there but something seems off about it but i can't be sure with all the problems in alpha. all i know is that i had quite a few hours shat away.

got to regearing today. work ran late so didn't have as much time. and to more misfortune i was killed inside of the police station in the town south of pavlovo. great. had some good gear too. so after being angry for an hour and a half wasted i kept moving along. eventually i worked myself back to where i was and with some pretty good gear. hopefully i can have some fun tomorrow as my week long vacation starts.

Well, after completely re gearing i manage to add a new barrel and a tent to my base. I now had a winchester and scope, m65 jacket, gorka, and an ak74u with glock and ballistic vest and helmet. much later in time i go to cherno to see whats up and i actually get lots of player action. first, i lay down range from the police station inside of the hospital scoping things out. i see 2 players, both with ak's. they spot me (i believed) and ran off so i decide to change positions, moving from the hospital to the construction site, then to the tec building or whatever it may be. after seeing nothing from up top there i go down and i hear footsteps and so i crouch down with my suppressed ak74u and sure enough a guy walks in from the side door and i gun him down. i take off back to the site to avoid his friend. after seeing nothing i decide to call it a night but unfortunately, i see a different player with an ak going to my position. he spots me and i duck. some intense running and maze combat takes place. turns out he had a friend (possibly from the other 2) and i manage to shoot on while he was on the stairs. it didn't kill him but wounded him significantly and he passed out as i saw later, running from more ak fire. while running i shoot his unconscious body just to keep him down. I finally try to make an escape but his buddy was crouching outside. we both shoot at each other and after filling each other with rounds, i die. A good fight and due to his lack of saying anything, and the amount of rounds we both took, he may have died as well. With a fight like that i'm not at all irritated by the loss of my equipment. Damn good fight.

lately i've found loads of the stuff and just stockpile what i can. the things i can never seem to find are pistol suppressors and 1911 mags.

After a long past couple days looting around and getting everything i wanted i loot for a tent in cherno, find nothing in the building, and walk out the doors. suddenly, death screen. no problem. ive gotten this bug before. just back out a relog. it wasnt the bug. i d ied for precisely no reason and couldn't find the server again so all my loot is gone. yay. if anyone needs me i'll be doing something else.

The option should be in your video settings within the render distance. my memory isn't that great so just try starting there.

Decided i was bored with my current character and decided that if i fell into extreme danger i wouldn't fall back to re-assess my situation. I go to the construction site in cherno and start scoping around. then i hear a round land near me. turns out theres a guy sniping from inside the crane. for around 10-15 minutes we snipe at each other and not landing any hits (a fair range and i had no range finder, not to mention the amount of cover) and eventually i think he calls to his friends to help him. I'm shot by i believe 3 people including sniper guy. I suppose now i'll re-gear while watching youtube and listening to creepypastas. as soon as the servers come back up.

players mostly enjoy killing each other and behaving like complete psychopaths but there are a few friendly people here and there. best advice is to be wary and listen to the fantastic advice given by s3v3n.

good to see you weren't killed 100% of the time as my experiments in the field yielded. And happy birthday. I had one hell of a day today. After re-gearing from yesterday, I have an ak74u, a winchster with scope, a magnum, ballistic vest and the like. As i'm leaving the airfield I see a player. He never sees me so i re-position myself. eventually he's running straight down to the last few hangers and so after seeing he has a decked out akm i feel it's best to shoot him. one shot and he's dead. Much later in time I'm in a small village when i encounter a newspawn. after observing him and him punching me i shoot him in the leg and drop a bandage for him. I finally get to play a game i've been wanting to. I ask him 3 riddles. he got 2 right but couldn't answer the one i made up myself so it was clear he cheated. but i decide to let him go since he took part and was the first ever. suddenly, 2 more fresh spawns are around me, one with an axe, one with a steak knife. steak knife stabs me ones and i gun him down with my 74u while axe guy hits me once in the head and once in the chest (thanks ballistic helmet) and so i shoot him as he starts to run away. while all of that was happening, broken leg guy was cheering them on saying "yea! karmas a bitch!" so, instead of sparing him i shoot him. I then wander down the way to electro, I scope out the place and see a few players running about. I make my way to the 2 houses at the top of a big hill and to my surprise i find a fully decked out ump45. i happily replace my ak74u even though the ump only had 8 rounds left. i look around and after seeing nothing i go to to a different vantage point. i see a player and after some waiting i take a shot but miss. I move on and try to find a better spot but unfortunately a group of 3 players see me. out of breath and unable to return significant fire back i retreat. That's when a half hour long chase between me and them began. we were running through the woods in the middle of nowhere. they hit my in what must've been my arm because my m65 jacket was ruined. nearly dead i press on and lucky for me they're not great shots. I finally got to lose them once i crossed the dam bridge and wandered through some more woods. after making sure the coast was clear, i log out and take a breather. I log back on and access my situation. badly injured, ruined jacket, but otherwise in good shape. I run back to electro to get a new jacket and eventually some .45s for my new ump. much later i'm in much better health and have a tsko jacket which will do nicely. and to my continued luck i find another ump stashed inside a sedan. unfortunately it was stuck but still a big win. One hell of a day.

well today was pretty shitty. after taking some time to get some of my gear back after it had been ruined/disappeared i try to meet up with some guys to play with. after a few hours of getting geared and trekking back to cherno i finally spawn into their server on their position. despite telling them exactly what i was wearing and one of them, saying whre i was one of the guys still shoots me on accident. i try to run back but my body long disappears and im later killed by a group of guys anyway. oh well i suppose.

I think i may have shat out all of my luck today. the first of the day was dull. i ran past berezino on a full server and found no one apart from one guy running on the road while i was waiting for the rain to let up underneath a tree i run out and take a shot at what was supposed to be his legs so i could have a fun encounter that wasn't KoS. well, i shot through a bush and hit him in the back whoops but oh well. later, i hop back on and get to electro where i managed to sneak up behind a guy sniping with an akm and drum mag. i catch my breath and pop him in the back of the head with my mosin. i move through the town but never see anyone except some bambi in a red raincoat. i pass through the small towns which in one i met a guy who had no pants. i didn't shoot him since he appeared to be having a bad day. he wasn't good with english so we couldn't communicate properly for me to help him. i make my way through cherno and spot no one on top of triple yellow so i go to the hospital that's downrange from a police station. turns out there was a guy camping the stairs. i had almost gunned him down but the bullets caught the clipping plane. (this is skyrim all over again). he runs upstairs and i believe logged out like a coward. i poke around there and decide to head to the hospital. suddenly i hear winchester shots and take cover. i fall back to the contruction site and do some recon. hospital was empty but i caught a glimpse of the guy in the station. i run back while taking cover and clear the building. gone. i retreat back and take shots. i later see a guy stuck in the ladder climbing animation and of course he takes shots at me. theres nothing but concrete walls and a shack for cover so i go around the other way. great minds think alike and he does the same. fortunately, i had the better gun (ump) and gun him down. while dodging fire from a mosin and fal or dragunov. I run like hell to the tree line and after dodging countless shots i'm safe and having killed those guys' buddy. i take stock and see both my pants and m65 jacket are ruined and i had barely survived. likely due to my ballistic vest and dashing good looks. I decide it's time to get off before i run out of luck and get killed. One hell of a day.

well my day despite my efforts was completely uneventful. i ran from electro to cherno 4 times and many other small towns and areas and saw absolutely no one anywhere. The server was full so i guess i wasn't invited to the baked beans party being held up north..... not that i wanted to go or anything.... *sniffles*

it's a christmas miracle. i always go with the full ballistic vest. not too hard to find either.

wow, talking to players and not getting shot? almost never happens to me, let alone multiple times in one day. Good to see there was no pointless violence.

Hadn't played much today but it went from 0 to 100 really quick. I was showing my brother the game while he waited for his ride and i was looting the vybor military base near nwaf. After looting the hunting stand i cut back through the base and while talking to him, i see a player. not wanting to engage i take off and just try to stay out of his way. After making my way down the tree line going to and from the base i see he's following me. I pull out my mosin and plan to just pick him off but he was smart. he managed to make his way near me and as i thought, opens fire on me. lucky for me i dodge most of the rounds and struggled to pull out my ak74u and manged to gun him down while only taking 2 rounds to the legs which only cost me my pants. i loot his body of his hunting scope and a shiny new ump and his backback which i needed. after inspecting the rest of his contents i'm shot at again by his friend and so i take off and hide. I think i may have intrigued and maybe impressed my brother.

I could make a hockey joke but i'm too ignorant of the sport, so use your imagination. also i wish i could be that lucky. My level of luck is on par with the unfortunate fellow you decided didn't have enough head trauma. nice vid.

Last night did not end well for me. After having a shitty day i decide to play some dayz to get my mind off of things. I manage to find some great loot, a hunters backpack, fully kitted mosin, great clothing, all the food and ammo i could need and i wasn't even a NWAF yet. I go there, loot a bit, and begin my way back. i make it to pavlovo and i see a player.(there were only 5 on including me)in no mood to deal with anything that could speak so i just make my way along and he didn't have anything on him. he spoke in some weird likely fake voice and despite my warnings, kept following me. even after a shot to the leg. later on im guessing his friend is there and is also poorly geared. they both continue to follow me and as im trying to make them go away i get a shot to the leg from a mystery shooter in the trees. in the end, i died and lost everything and will also shoot anyone that speaks to me in a type of voice i don't like. possibly if they speak at all. today was much better. i just need a decent backpack and i'm back to normal.
