What do you want? A medal for letting the guy live? Also not everybody that plays the game actually uses the forum, so maybe he won't even see this. Altough i must say it's rather nice of you to avoid killing someone you had in your gun's sight on.

The new patch made the zombies deaf... i fired a lee enfield with a zombie pretty close by to my location in order to kill a loner who followed me, the noise didn't atract anyone else... not to mention, they now are less likely to hear any cans or bottles that you throw on the ground to lure then away, wich is annoying.

I think you have it backwards sir, i commented partially in favor of the OP, but some people here left a disaproving messages but still keep commenting with the creator of the tread even tough they clain they "are tired of such treads", in order for me to question that, i have to comment on it anyways. That's about it, also i'm gonna finish it here, just left this last message to respond to this.

I face palm so hard everytime someone says this... if the game wasn't fun at all, it wouldn't be as popular as it is, in fact no one would play it. fun can be attained in many ways, in this case by being challenging and unique.

What's with you people?... you say you're tired of having these types of treads and go trough the trouble of leaving a small post against the OP for creating another tread like this, and yet, some of you keep arguing about it and keeping the tread on the first page. Is there something i'm missing? Or are you guys really that bored?

For something like that to happen it would take ALOT and i mean ALOOOOOOT, of organization and willingness from the players part. Not to mention... this just sound like a bad excuse to avoid dying on that day and freely loot places... Also "save are souls", lol big mistake there.

You get "banned" forever in real life? Oh lol. Anyways, if this game was really trying for a "realistic" aproach, you wouldn't be able to go outside a house without facing countless zombies per street, the game is pretty empty on the number of zombies if you consider the actual world population. And due to that fact, there would be zombies spawning the woods as well, after all, they semm to aimlessly wander around, so of course many of then lose thenselves in the woods.

Not to mention, it has nothing to do with survival in this case, and would be really hard to see happening in a situation like that (the person would have to be a phycopath to do such a thing, but even then he would take advantage of his kill) i've seen people rack up kills and brag about it... like it really matters, tough there's not much we can do to stop it.

I agree, i never cared about dying unless it was really sudden and actually scared me in the process, so i'm fine with wipes. Not to mention, people should probably just stfu when someone makes a suggestion/complain, trying to act like a smartass to look cool, when someone makes a complain tread, even when the OP is acting polite when giving his complaint, what do they do? "Herp derp, go back to cod", "oh it's alpha deal with it". I'm pretty sure alpha is also a phase for hearing out criticism and not to mention opnions, but they are so busy praising the dev like mad they don't notice. Also i might add, this is not a perfect game, people WILL find flaws or bugs even after alpha, it's completely normal, even big gaming companies suffer from it.

Just to give it a little more tought process here, i don't mean that people who kill others are jackasses, no, i'm fine with that, if it wasn't for then the game wouldn't be risky. What i mean is the person who goes trough the trouble of adding you on steam/skype/msn, whatever, and they betrays you while insulting you in the process. I've never had that happen to me, but i heard stories of how it happened, and i have to say that's quite sad...

Because the world is rotten alredy, like Izithel said, having no way of being recognized even when acting like a complete jackass and so having no possible repercursions for your actions makes people act like retards.

I noticed that whenver i fired my gun inside a building to kill a zombie that was following me, i never atracted atttention from the others, even tough there were zombies around, even when i fired a freaking enfield or a revolver wich are freaking loud, nobody came, worse, i fire it from say, the front of a house wich counts as a building, but you can't enter it and no zombies heard me fire the revolver to kill a single zombie that was following me, mind you, there was one right behind the house. And also another thing that i'm not sure if it has happened to anybody else, losing everything when you get DC'ed. I was at balota airfield, especiafically the south part checking the deer stands for supplies, when i got on top of one finding nothing of interest i try to go down the ladder but the game gives me that red warning saying that i lost connection and the timer going up. I logged off and joined another server to continue playing, but funnily enough i lost everything that i had on that character and i started me off on the shore with full blood, like i was a new character.

I don't really mind losing gear, just found it extremely weird. Probably going to check if it happens again.

Well i know you can get Dced for bad connection BUT, i've NEVER lost everything that i had on me not to mention start out like a new character like i just died.

Would anyone mind giving me a link to these videos? I'm a sucker for creepy pastas, i'd love to see this, but ever since the forum change, acessing older forum posts from google gives you a broken link, and the search on the forum itself didn't find said topic...

The music is really nice in the way that actually sounds intense and desperate, fitting the game's situation, but outside from that i always turn it off to avoid not hearing someone that might be coming from my back or a possible zombie around me. Got curious tough, since some people don't mind the music getting in the way, so how many of you actually play with the music turned on?

Same thing, i don't mind starting over tough... getting everything you need to survive makes the game EXTREMELY boring, there's nothing else to do.

Risking to go there at first when you respawn is a nice deal, but whenever i get everything i need i move north. But i don't see the point in camping on a rooftop wasting my life thinking that i'm doing something productive with my life...

Oh my, it's just so hard right? Like... server options... yeah, and then you move to the hardcore servers without thirdperson.
