    Pending Update: Build 1.7.2

    May i suggest disabling the random stick breaking and chain link fence hit noises, they alert you to nothing because nothing has caused it.

For anyone having issues connecting to servers try this: The beta patch is a must so always install the latest beta patch http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php And of course the latest DayZ http://184.95.47.165/latest/ Now only join servers in the server browser that have "1.60.93965" or the latest beta patch listed next to "Required" at the bottom of the screen and "v1.7.1.5" or the latest DayZ version in the Server name. Should solve the majority of connection issues.

    Excellent, also for anyone having issues connecting to servers over the weekend try this: Only join servers in the server browser that have "1.60.93965" listed next to "Required" and "v1.7.1.5" in the Server name. Should solve the majority of connection issues.
  4. Plus' date=' I'm wearing the hardest soled shoes ever. Clunk clunk clunk. Rubber soled boots much? [/quote'] Very loud boots indeed, the actual sound clip of walking is very loud in ARMA II. As far as being heard through concrete walls I have just resorted to crawling through towns, holding down the forward key and browsing forums on my laptop. Kind of takes you out of the game.
  5. The stealth would be perfect if it was possible crouch run behind cover without being heard. You would have a mixture of crouch running when behind cover and crouch walking and crawling for when your to close. You could use them all. As of now crouch running is very risky.

I have made sure i join servers with the Beta 93965 Patch and Dayz Build 1.7.1.5 -Movement keys getting stuck after being uncouncious -Zombies can hear through walls -Flies buzzing with no dead bodies around -Crawling over objects causes you to stand up -Tons of issues with the inventory; items being replaced or falling onto ground -Rareity of morphine is a big problem -Zombie aggro for crouch running seems a bit unpredictable as zombies can hear through walls of buildings and concrete walls. I have resorted to crawling through each town to avoid zombie aggro as crouch walking makes your profile vulnerable to bandit attack and is just as slow. Crawling through each town consumes alot of time.
  7. There should be an anouncement to remind server admins to update to the latest dayz_server 1.7.1.3 file.
  8. Servers keep crashing with no message recieved and then counts down. Has happened three times now.
  9. I am in a pitch black server at night time right now and turning up the gamma and brightness to maximum does nothing; the night is still solid black. Are you possibly joining servers that do not have the beta patch installed?
  10. I feel the axe is way to powerfull. I can kill individual zombies in two hits. I can kill them in one hit if they get knocked back and fall to thier death. Melee weapons are fun but I suggest you make the mechanics so handguns are very much prefered over them. I belive melee weapons should be a last resort or a weak starting weapon to counter single zombies.

    Thank-you Rocket, I thought there was some strange behaviour with the zombie aggro mechanics. Looking foward to testing out those mechanics (Again)
