  1. Map mods need to be loaded on game startup. Using CUP terrains it would have been possible to use all their maps, each on it's own server. Kegan would have to join in here and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all he used STS for was coordinating between servers, and force logout/login of players. It was more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it. Servers using this would have needed to set up a method for initiating transfer, saving location data, respawn, as well as giving access tokens for adjacent maps. The non entry servers would require a key for entry, that gets provided to the player character on leaving entry server. Death in non entry servers wiped key, and required players to start fresh in the entry server.
  2. There was a mod for Arma 3 that was never finished. STS (Server Transfer System) Used KK's original code as a base and included a smooth automatic transition between servers. Had a problem blocking map dialogs and didn't get fixed, but it showed it was easily doable. The idea when it was created was that it would use a central map as the entry server. All other servers were locked for new players. The biggest hassle was to align the exit location with the entry location of the adjacent terrain.

    Attention Napf residents. Great job Unity and Galaxy Drummer on clearing the Cartel forces from the Southwest Airfield. The Hero Trader is once again open. It appears, however, that while forces were occupied in the south, the Cartel has moved a large force onto the Suhrenfeld Array Island and have fortified it. Looks like we are in for a prolonged fight for the control of Napf. I have reports that the Cartel brought large quantities of weapons, armor, and cash with them to support their expansion onto the main island. Gather your forces and plunder the Cartel base, keep them on their heels. I have also recently received intel that Alexei Slava plans to take over this operation himself after the disaster at the Southwest Airfield. Taking Alexei out would be a huge blow the Cartel. I will provide more information as I receive it. Keep your eyes and ears open, and good luck. Agent Smith, Out.

This is a survival militarized server. Loot has been increased only slightly. You will not find weapons laying around everywhere. There are, however, many different ways to gear up and enjoy all the server has to offer. Besides the standard loot locations, we also have random weed farms you can harvest, fishing, many different AI missions, weekly Admin run Storyline missions, Dynamic convoys, and everyone's favorite, banditry. The storyline missions are all player directed, meaning the story changes based on the outcomes of each weekly event. There are also smaller admin run events throughout the week. This complements the dozens of different AI missions that pop up. Don't take this to mean this is a strictly PvE server. This is a militarized server for a reason. PvP is more than welcome. We do have rules posted as to griefing, but we generally let the players do as players do. Light armor, medium armor, tanks, combat helicopters, and fighter jets are all here. For the new players, don't fret, AT and AA are available at the standard trader for you to attack and defend against the more well equipped players. Our player base is small at the moment, but growing, with a steady group of active regulars. Our Admin team is professional and dedicated, with at least 1 admin on nearly 24/7. Come join the fun in game and join the fun on TS as well, it's almost as fun as the gameplay.
