Why do i need to reinstall OS, i have it on my SSD already i cloned it onto there, my problem atm is my fps droping to 1 every time i move etc, like if it drops to 30 and stayed at that i would be ok but it freezes the whole game, how can i get this to stop, it shouldnt be doing that.

My friends dont get the fps drops to 1 tho, it happens with me all the time even in the smallest of villages

I changed them to this; http://prntscr.com/9hfgog But i still get FPS drops, its not the FPS that bothers me its the 1 FPS which makes my game freeze for a couple of seconds. Like even in smaller vilages.

Can you give me a config with things adjusted that will improve my fps? Also games like Rust give me 45-50FPS but it will freeze and drop to 1 FPS.... My friend that has the same Graphics card etc as me gets no freezes in dayz tho?

When im walking around in the wild i get good 60 FPS, but as soon as i run into Forests, or into major cities my fps drops to about 25-30ish which is playable but then my fps drops to 1 and freezes for a couple of seconds, this is hard to play with when in gun fights, in a couple of days im getting the Nvidia MSI 970 Gcard will this improve any FPS? I havent installed my Windows onto the SSD, Dayz is just in there, if i get that software and optimise it will that still work? Says i cant optimise with windows 8 and above?

I dont think this is a problem with me, im on a server, with hardly any one on, and as soon as i get into a city my fps drops to the point where it freezes and i cant move for a couple of seconds, and i cant play because of this..

I have found my self recently in game with Major FPS drops, when running in Cities, it doesn't just lag it drops the fps to the point where it stops and freezes the screen for a couple of seconds and then i can play again, but it only then goes and does it again in like 5 - 10 seconds after it done it before.. How can i fix this? how can i stop this from happening.. this is my setup and my DayZ Config file, i don't know if anything in the files will change that from happening? Why is the localvram section in blue? And also what is your other config file? Can I see that?
