As an Alpha tester I feel like it is my duty to chip in my 2 cents about game in return for letting me play for free. There is no doubt that 1.7.1 brought on a ton of new fixes that were needed. Of course there are some issues that remain. I really like: -Zombies seem to be less glitchy when they attack you, they don’t teleport around you like they used to. -Crawler animation is brilliant and somewhat scary when seeing it for the first time. -Buildings seems to be more effective at hiding your presence although not perfect. -Zombies don’t spawn with in 30 m of you, but sometimes you spawn with in 30m of them What I think still needs to be done: -Problem with zombies walking in the floors of some buildings and still able to do damage. -zombies still seem to be able to teleport through doors -Flash light seems not to effect zombies seeing you, although helpful, not realistic. What I dislike: Spawing with nothing while zombies have increased line of sight and damage. Hear me out on this, I am all for realistic as possible crazy zombies. But in a real life situation If I knew there was crazy flesh eating zombies out there, I sure as hell wouldn’t leave my safe spot with out means of protection. Now I respect the idea maybe you are out of food water and are desperate and have no choice but leave your safe spot and you end up on the beach. But even then, I feel that you would have acquired/mad some kind of weapon. I would suggest: Starting with some means of defense or tone down zombie sight either one would keep the challenge up but make the game a little more realistic IMO. I’m not trying to make the game a walk in the park, my argument is centered around realism. In real life if there was a threat around, you would certainly have some weapon before setting out on your own to find food and water. I respect the game that has been created, It certainly is an amazing addition to the gaming world and adds a whole new style of game that I think the gaming community has been waiting for. Keep up the good work, and I am excited to see what other additions and fixes arrive in the near future!
