    and also, same as before in an elevated comand promot windows (elevation means that you ran it with administrator rights, as i explained it above) you should (read: need) to type the following commands

     

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

     

    as last resort, if you are still unable to repair your files, you have the obvious option of repairing/reinstalling windows using your BOOTABLE cd/flash drive

    go to your start menu (low-left side of the screen) and in the "run" field type "cmd".

    you will see the comand prompt application, right click it and select "run as administrator"

    once you see it open type "sfc /scannow" and press enter.

    wait for it to finish, it will take a few minutes

    Hm, the idea sounds very good to me, but the way you describe it sounds very brutal. I understand that DayZ aims to be a survival simulator and not some arcade pve/pvp shooter, but it still has to be fun.

    This mechanic would leave you completly defenseless, unable to bandage, barely able to walk (and for only a short distance), and cannot administer morphine or painkillers to themsevles. I think it would be a very rage inducing mechanic.

    Got Arma 2 Complete collection only to play DayZ after watching  FRANKIEonPCin1080p, haven't played 1 minute of Arma tho :) I got the standalone and waiting for it to be done because I can see it has huge potential. So far the Mod is better in my opinion. It misses some features that the SA has, but the core gameplay is solid and it's still popular
