  1. Automated Server Restarts changed to 4 hours (down from 6) to accommodate the current influx of players to the servers.

Server #7: An Arma 3 server coming soon. :) Actually, you can play on it now, but it is still under development, the server is up and down when scripting, and there is always the chance there may be a need for a database wipe if a change doesn't go right.     BEC Scheduler

    I am trying to get my BEC Scheduler working to automate server restarts. Here is my BEC config.cfg: The following is my scheduler.xml: Here is the @Restart_Server.bat I am trying to call: I have 2 issues. The first is that BEC is not running the scheduled tasks in the scheduler.xml The second is that I am running 3 servers from the same computer and when I run the restart bat, it is shutting down all 3 servers at once (but is not shutting down the databases so they can be restarted as well). If someone could point me in the right direction for the scheduler, that is the primary thing i need. If someone can help me with the bat file so it won't close all the servers, just the one that scheduler is supposed to close, that would be great. I would like to thank anyone in advance for any help they could provide.

    BEC Scheduler

    So I ended going a different route. I am using BERCon and a batch file to automate the entire server restart thing. The beautiful thing about going this route is having full control over the entire process. All three of my servers are now controlled by a single batch file.
  7. Automated Server Restarts added. Servers will now automatically restart every 6 hours.
  8. Our new Chernarus Server has been brought online with all your favorite addons from Lingor and Napf. This brings our server count to 3. Lingor, Napf and Chernarus.
  9. The Lingor Server has been updated to include all addons previously only available on the Napf Server.
  10. ADDED: (Napf Only): Custom GUI - Keep track of all your personal stats much easier. ADDED: (Napf Only): Spawn Location Select - Select any city or town to spawn in. ADDED: (Napf Only): Spawn Skin Select - Select from several skins to spawn in with (includes various loadouts). Vehicle Spawn count on the Napf Server has been reduced to 300 to improve server FPS.
  11. It is very possible it is not the server_monitor.sqf at all, though you say you are running completely vanilla... There are some mpmission files depending on what you have running client side that can update vehicles in the database. Also, you may be experiencing the update that occurs when a player gets near a vehicle. These vehicles, which can include buildings on the map, will be updated whenever a player gets near them. This function ensures that the client is updated with any changes to the status of the vehicles and buildings. It appears to also update the records in the database whenever they are accessed. This is also likely happening to anything else in the database that a player gets near as well. It should also explain why there doesn't seem to be a pattern to which vehicles are being updated. Of course, I could also be very wrong about this, but suspect it is the case.
  12. Fixed an issue new players were having connecting to our servers. Players should not experience the grey screen followed by a server disconnect any longer. I would like to thank the players on my server for helping me weed out this bug.
  13. Server Update: Added: NOS for Cars - requires 1 Jerry Can + 1 Red Bull. Caution: Driving at extreme speeds increases devastation when crashing.   14. RACING EVENT: 6-7 Jun 2015 - (Napf Only) - The server's new Race Track will be up. Prizes will be awarded. The more participation, the bigger the prize. The starting position for the race is the traffic circle in the city of Luzern. Race Rules: 1) You are allowed to drive any land vehicle you can find on the map. 2) If the vehicle you are driving has weapons, you are NOT allowed to use those weapons during the race. 3) Only one person per vehicle. 4) You are NOT allowed to tow another vehicle during the race. 5) You must drive through each race track marker along the track. 6) All additional rules will be announced by an admin before each race begins. 7) Breaking any rules during a race will automatically disqualify you for the duration of that race.
  15. Added a new mission called ISIS Scum to the Napf map. This will challenge even the best of you. Changed the way missions with patrolling vehicles get those vehicles. They now are dropped in via C130. This give you a chance to make those missions easier if you can take out the C130 before it reaches the mission to drop it's cargo.
  16. New Napf Server has been added with all the addons from the Lingor server. In addition the Napf Server also has the Change View Distance addon.
  17. DZAI has been added to the server. This includes: 1) Roaming AI Ground Vehicles 2) Roaming AI Helicopters 3) Town / City Spawned AI (Chance to trigger as you enter a town) 4) Loot areas / Loot base spawned AI (Change to trigger as you enter the area) 5) Player spawned hunter AI (Chance to trigger and hunt you at random intervals) This was added it increase survivor challenge.

    Mature 17 Year old - Looking to become an admin!

    FYI, this guy jumped onto my TS3, having never logged into my server. Asked if i was looking for admins, and when told no, replied "shit server though". Recommendation, do not make this kid an admin. @100PercentLegit - If you ever want to make admin on someone's server, try playing on their server for a while, offer some sort of contribution to the server in some way, and maybe, just maybe the server owner may ask you to be an admin. But by all means, don't ask the server owner for admin before that owner even knows who you are.
  19. I am a server admin/owner, I can confirm the Dayz Commander is still broken. I have had several users attempt to connect to my server and immediately get disconnected. After researching why this was happening, I downloaded Dayz Commander and tried to connect to my server. I was disconnected like all the rest. What I did notice is that Dayz Commander was not properly detecting my server mods and would only launch base Arma 2 OA. I have been connecting to my server using Dayz Launcher from the start, so I didn't realize why so many were having trouble launching into my server. Dayz Commander is to blame. If any would like to see empirical proof. Get both Dayz Launcher and Dayz Commander, search each of them for Ultima-Weapons's Universe and launch into my server from each. Dayz Launcher will be the only one to work. Why so many people are trying to do it from Dayz Commander still is beyond me. For those that do not want to use either launcher to connect to a server, use the following command to run on a server of your choosing: ArmA2OA.exe" -nosplash -mod=C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2~1;C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2O~1\Expansion;C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2O~1\ca;C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2O~1\@lingor;C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2O~1\@dayzoverwatch;C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2O~1\@dayzorigins179;C:\PROGRA~2\Steam\STEAMA~1\common\ARMA2O~1\@dayz_epoch1051 -connect=68.0.184.37 -port=60000 This command assumes you are launching Lingor 1.5, Overwatch 0.2.5, Origins 1.7.9, Epoch 1.0.5.1 mods and that the mods are located in your Arma 2 OA folder. To load the game correctly, you need to load Arma 2 Combined Operations (Arma 2 & Arma 2 OA). That is why you see a path to base Arma 2. It also needs the Expansion folder and though you may not see the 'ca' folder, that part for some reason also needs to be there. If you wanna try it out, the above line will load Arma 2 Combined Operations, Lingor, Overwatch, Origins, and Epoch into my server 'Ultima-Weapon's Universe'. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
