    Just to confirm, this is the issue you're having?

     

     

    Before I'd fixed the issue, I had found that there was a lingering process from BattlEye called "BEService.exe" still running after failed attempts to launch the game.

    Knowing this, the next thing I'd try is restarting my computer to get rid of any lingering processes from failed launches. I'd then retry deleting the folders + verifying.

     

    I hope this works for you.

     

    If it doesn't please email BattlEye support. 

    No for me its a bit different it doesent say failed to start battleeye service.

    The battleeye window pops up after i start the game and sometimes it hangs at the starting battleeye service.

    And sometime the windows close but the game wont start.

    But it says dayz is running and the dayz exe and dayz_be.exe are running when i look in the task manager

    and it is not possible to end the process for dayz.exe.

     

    Edit: Tried it another time after a reboot delete everything and then verifying but still no luck

    Yeah, I assume the update may have corrupted some files or something. 

    For anyone else having this issue, if this didn't fix it, I also deleted the BattlEye folder from "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\DayZ" too. Not sure if that did anything but it's worth a shot.

    I have done all of this now, but it doesen´t change anything the game wont start and it says its running.

    Realy strange that only a few people got this problem.

    I have the same thing happening here! I cant even close the game in the task manager... When I try to reboot the computer, the "shutting down" message appears even after 10 mins of trying to shutting the computer down...

     

    What's happening, and anyone know how I can force close the program, or better yet - Play the game?

    EDIT: Reinstalled the game, and the problem still persists :-[

    Exactly the same happened for me i can stop the dayzBE.exe but

    not the dayz.exe then i have to reboot and it stucks at the shutting down message.

    Realy a bad timing for such a problem. :(

    I have a problem with the last update. Dayz won´t start at all.

    I launch the game the battleeye window pops up and then nothing happened anymore.

    Task manager shows that the game is running and in steam it says its running but i cant play.

    I verified the game cache but that doesent fix the problem.

    Maybe someone got the same problem and could fix it any help is welcome. :)

    I too initially had the impression that the newui gave me an approximate 10fps boost.

    I then realized that even one degree in angle can heavily influence measurement, so if you want accurate comparison, you cant even move a single inch.

     

    after all that I still came to the conclusion that newui does, in fact, slightly improve performance. I would say in the worst spots by about 3-5 fps and overall a bit better.

    I haven´t moved for sure the second time. But maybe a player was in my proximity not sure.

    And i think the same it does improve the performance somehow.

    Ok i have tested the difference with the new and the old ui and there is a change in Fps for me at least.

    Not sure if its only because of the newui option because i add another thing to the startoptions -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi

    But i read somewhere that the startoptions beside newui and skipintro doesen´t work anymore so it must be because of the newui.

    Beside that i think my cpu uses much more % of the 3 and 4 core not sure if this is new but i think it was lower as 70-90%?!

    Has anyone figured out why people just sort of stand there? It's weird. Tried shooting one in the head and he didn't seem too bothered by it.

     

    Tried to drink from a cooking pot and it got stuck in my hands. Even got "cannot remove item from hands" so I had to relog.

     

    Zombies seem brain dead. They wander around and don't notice me. Fired a gun and one sort of lamely shuffled towards me. Only saw 3 in Cherno.

     

    I'm assuming all the weirdness has something to do with testing zombies and server load.

    I think the people are dead but they not on the ground its a bug.

     

    Edit: Ok i was to slow again. ;)

    Ok i got a few questions but im not sure if someone already ask it.

     

    1. Will we be able to carry a second Backpack in our hands maybe with both hands or move a bit slower when we do that?

     

    2. Is there a chance that we will get different weather like snow maybe after 1.0?

     

    3. Are there any plans on water vehicles like small boats or something like that?

     

    4. When will the Radio be in game maybe 0.59 or is it spawning and only extremly Rare?
