Help - Stuck at "Loading" screen

Okay, finally got it working. Seems that there's more to the 93965 patch than just installing it, you need to make sure you use the correct *.exe too. Check out this thread: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=10370 I followed the instructions and it worked. It would also account for why I got so many 'bad version' errors coming up. So if you're stuck on loading make sure you're using patch 93965 properly. It might fix it.

Help - Stuck at "Loading" screen

FYI - Updated Battleye, but problem persists. Annoyingly, at the 'loading' screen I can hear the sea and all sounds associated with the game, but that's as far as it will let me go. Downloaded the patch again and attempted to use it, but no luck. Same problem.

Help - Stuck at "Loading" screen

Yup. Same problem here. I do get a lot of 'Bad Version, server rejected connection' errors, but when I don't I just get stuck on the 'Loading' screen. In fact I just powered up DayZ, connected to a server, left the house, went to the shops, brought some milk came back home and it was still 'Loading'. V 1.7.1 worked great for me and I got a fair few hours played, but none of the subsequent releases have worked for me. The version I'm currently using is the one downloaded via torrent.
  4. Been playing 1.7.0 for a while now and apart from some bugs been greatly enjoying it. However, since upgrading to 1.7.1 I have two quite major problems with the game: 1) Each Time I enter a game I'm back at the beach with basic kit regardless of how far I've gone inland or what equipment I've looted. Also I start with a pistol, so does that sound right for the patch? 2) Can't use flares. I've got them in my kit but can't select them with F to throw them. The version I'm using is from the 1.7.1 torrent, so I basically extracted the @DayZ folder on top of the old one (twice, just to be sure). Cheers Splendid
