I don't know about anyone else, but when I get fully-geared, I go looking for other fully-geared players to interact with. All I can tell you is I have a hell of a lot of fun playing this game, even when features are broken. People try to tell me that if I want to PvP I am playing the wrong game. They tell me to go play CoD, BF, or Arma. Well, I played all those games, and it isn't the same. I like the PvP in DayZ more than any of those other FPS games. I have more to lose in this game, and it makes death, and kills, far more satisfying than anything else I have ever played. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ AND that is why I don't like you. I die easy... LOL. DAYZ is strangely comforting when there are Infected around.... It's when it is quiet that the fear kicks in. A real threat is probably near. I am very inexperienced at gunplay on PC and DAYZ. (I miss Homefront) I test fired my first mp5 on the .56 (666) build. Shot from, idk, lets say 200 yards from light cover on a rise overlooking town. First shot hit a female infected standing by a male infected. She staggered then pegged me right away.. ( I was hidden, remember) ON me fast. She chased me all the way to a house and would not let up.. I killed her easily but it was a lesson to me in what is coming. I also experienced a couple of small hordes in Cherno. I will add that I think she became aggressive not because of the sound... but the impact and she was just running to where it came from based up where it hit her. If it was sound, I would expect that all the zombies in that town. (maybe 3-4) would have looked for me too. The male zombie was literally feet from her, Now imagine this... You are in a building sniping. You shoot, and all the infected in Cherno come into your building or immediate vicinity looking for you... and I am to understand they are working on infected climbing ladders too... The question remains.. You keep shooting, will more "sound" spawn? Precious ammo... with more coming. BTW. I know I can kill zombies pretty easy... even pretty good with fists... But if I recall, it took me a very long time to find a suitable melee weapon. The infected became less attentive and then ultimately these last couple of day, non-existent in the exp builds. In the end, it is just survival..... and how you whittle away your final DayZ.
