I have to say, after this new patch the game has gotten more challenging. No weapons at spawn, zombies spotting you from a mile away. For all the bandits with their full gear and tier weaponry it's not problem. But what about us guys spawning on the coast, with no weapons, and zombies that see us when even prone? My only point here is that while I love this mod, I don't have 3 hours to spend prone in Cherno trying to get to the hospital. Even then I'm most likely dead before I can reach the town. Am I the only one having trouble with the change?

People are so quick to point fingers instead of remembering that they are playing this free. It may be the reason you bought arma but you didn't pay for DayZ, so quit the complaining.

After uninstalling, reinstalling and fudging around with files twice, the game is unplayable for me at 1.7.1.1. Still getting 'you have been kicked from the game' on every single server I can get into. The ones I can't say, 'bad version, server rejected' I manually downloaded everything and installed into the correct files, to no avail. Maybe this alpha hates me, Idk. Not blaming anyone who works on this mod, I know you guys bust your asses and I appreciate that, but this patch has killed it for me. Any known fixes to my problems, besides uninstall/reinstall would be appreciated. Thanks

So I downloaded 1.7.1, and now every server I go to either has the red X, or I get to lobby for a second then, 'You have been kicked off the game' pops up and I'm sent back to the server list. I've tried every single server possible with the same error. Any ideas? Is this a patch problem with the servers? The patch itself? Anyone else getting this too? Bump.

Bummer. Been playing for a couple weeks, minimal problems. Odd that I'll have to do a complete reinstall.

I had that problem, started OA through steam, didn't happen. Not sure if that'll help.
