No, I mean there's a bug where you get stuck in that view and double tapping alt doesn't fix it. I've had a friend have the same thing happen to him.

Yeah, server resets sometimes make them disappear, but they generally come back. Look again later.

If the person banned was exploiting the game, and the people following him in leaving supported them exploiting, then not banning them would have more long term damage than banning them. Reputation is important. Nobody wants to play a game that's perceived as being soft on cheaters and hackers.

What about disconnecting because of bugs? The other day I was being chased by zombies and got caught in the bug where I was stuck in alt-look, so all I could do to avoid dying was DC.

The fact is you DID buy another copy of OA with the intention of circumventing your ban. Regardless of you "seeing the light" afterwards, that shows these aren't just momentary lapses of judgement on your part, but rather a pattern. You claim you aren't using it, but nobody really knows that for sure, do they? Your word's a little tarnished at this point. Quit trying to defend yourself, suck it up, and accept your punishment. If you want your reputation to turn around, do it with your actions, not empty words.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's a massive hypocrite. In one of his streams someone DCs to avoid getting killed by him, and he lays into him with insults... then not 20 minutes later he gets shot and Alt-F4s to get away. I figured he would probably evade his ban. Watching him through the whole thing it was clear he was NOT sincerely remorseful about it one bit, even playing the victim. Hopefully TwitchTV banning him will be the end of the whole thing, though I hope the devs have permabanned him too for ban evasion.

Tonic I think he's referring to the DayZ dev in Whiskey's chat saying he'll lobby for Whiskey to not get permabanned. Guat, I don't think the official prescribed punishment is necessarily permanent, so there's no obvious special treatment for streamers just yet. Personally I think people who knowingly use exploits should be permabanned, but it's not up to you or me.

Keeping your server private for you and your buddies gives you an unfair advantage. As long as your server connects to the main DayZ database, suck it up and play with everyone else. Personally I'd rather the mod have insufficient servers on which everyone has a level playing field than have a lot of servers but with bought advantages.

Well, yep, there are goons on that list. They really need to clean up their act, though that's probably asking a lot.
