    Did your parents raised you with the belief that all people are English citizens? I didnt know that I have to speak or write perfect english to post in this forum.

    I am really surprised that some people are behaving like they are in a real zombie apocalypse and the dificulties of surviving have lowered their standards.

    And because I am not perfect too I will answer you the way you deserve and tell you that I wont do any effort to improve my english just because zombie-raised people like you want me to.

    The mockery you quoted had nothing to do with your grammar, in fact your English is superior to many for whom English is their first language. It's the content of your gripe I have taken issue with. The reticle shouldn't and (rightly) likely never will tell you exactly where your shots will land. Sorry, not sorry.

    My tent camp survived maintenance this week on a Vilayer server, however the server seems to be crashing at the rate of about once every two hours, once in between every 4hr restart give or take a few minutes.

    I'm wondering if the lootsplosion/lootgasm phenomenon is causing this and if so, perhaps some public server hosts were able/allowed to reset persistence to mitigate that issue?

    Anyone else out there experiencing something similar?

    Hey guys new player here jw does anyone have Frame drops around zombies and also is it just me or is it really risky now to kill zombies with melee weapons? I've died in 3 hits full heath from a zombie in good gear. I have too shoot or run!

    I've gone toe to toe with quite a few zombies and I have not been killed by one yet. I have had my leg or arm broken a few times and many pants and jackets ruined... Maybe I'm just lucky.

    We just drop everything. Go to a military base or similar. Pick up a mountain backpack, pick up everything that isn't nailed to the ground. We found a spawnglitched Vybor base. It took us several trips to exhaust the supply of AKMs.

    My only issue being lack of really high end stuff. We are having difficulty finding PSO-1s, LRSs, and East Suppressors.

    I really love the 101 laying around in our base.

    Green body.

    Green Polymer Buttstock

    Tactical Handguard

    Bipod

    Flashlight

    Green 101 Mag

    PSO-1 Scope

    East Suppressor

    Woodland Ghillie

    Thing is as decked out as it can be.

    I love my ak101! It's almost as decked out and is also painted green! In 200 hrs and lots of rummaging though, I've yet to find a m4 or a suppressor east.

    Lots of places have been 'going green', I have firsthand knowledge that solar powered street and parking lot lighting can run for years with little to no maintenance. I think these could be totally plausible in the bigger cities and not be 'game-breaking' in any way. Also, a little more moonlight couldn't hurt. Either way, I like the darkness too, even if it's not terribly attractive right now.

    1) Literally everything.

    Guns (AK-101, M4A1, several AKMs, several AKS-74us, a few mosins, a few SKSs, sporter, pistol grip shotgun, MP5, and some pistols) and a lot of mags.

    Backpacks with all kinds of clothing.

    Lots of food (I'd say 2-3 backpacks full).

    A ghillie suit.

    2) We've got about 30 backpacks in total. Mostly mountain backpacks, but other types too. No tents, we had no luck finding military ones and the civilian ones are giant blue eyesores. We probably won't bother with tents until they fix the military tent inventories.

    3) 2 Cargo V3Ss, 5 regular V3Ss. We are aiming at finding every single car in the server.

    Hoarders: DayZ edition! My small crew are just as bad, same amount of trucks and gear but with 7 military tents. I actually hope they don't fix the scroll bar issue with the tents because then we'll accumulate 3x more stuff!!

    Some of us have a problem... Admitting it is the first step to recovery, right?

    I like the idea of a HUD as a replacement for the 'whine text' as I call it. You should always be able to know certain things about your current condition, i.e. I know that I'm hungry, thirsty and cold right now as well as what areas of my body are in pain. The option to toggle on/off or just have it fade away if nothing is bothering me seems cool, also.

    I don't dig the stamina bar, crosshair, visibility thing or the standing/crouching indicator, even though that last item would help me tremendously. Yes, it takes me a minute to figure out why I can't move quickly... :-\

    my stash is whatever I can carry. I have not found any tents and have not been able to break into or steal peoples tents that I have found

    One of my buddies 'relieved' someone of a poorly hidden military tent and most of the gear inside. When you say you haven't been able to 'break into' tents you've found, what does that mean? Are tents lockable now?

    The private low pop I liked is gone too, there's a good chance the "owner" stopped paying their bill.

    I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully our favorite servers will return (mine has a pretty bitchin camp set up). A server that I was testing tent persistence on disappeared for a few days and when it returned my tent was even still there! DayZ never fails to confuse me!

    if you have filters on your server list (like 'ping less than 200'), your server might have wandered outside of your filter parameters for a few days

    I considered that but alas, it's confirmed down on gametracker.com also.

    Server down, server down! We need a medic over here!

    I've searched for this and came up empty, so I am asking here...

    I've seen this a few times that a server I enjoy playing on will disappear for a few days and then return. Does anyone know what may cause this? Is there a chance that one may not return, say if the renter decides to stop paying for it? How about 'official' servers, how are they identified and who pays for them? Are they more likely to remain in service than servers rented by individuals or small groups of players (clans)?

    I've had the 'disappearing loot' bug when attaching a gun holster to a filled attachment pouch. Until it's fixed I'll just avoid the holster.

    This happened to me and I lost all the contents (10 full slots) in the pouch when attaching the holster. It seems to work well enough for me now that it's complete though, and I do like having a pistol stashed there for emergency zed control!

    Are you still finding frequent restart-kick abuses? Most of the problem servers that I used to frequent seemed to have mellowed out with the kicky farm game. But it could also just be that they stopped playing as much. Regardless of the reason, I haven't experienced any kick-all restarts for a couple weeks now.

    This was quite recent, 3-4 days ago. So, I obviously just don't play on those servers. The one that was kicking me would do so before I had even landed, and the one that was restarting got me killed by zed while trying to log back in... Pretty impossible to even play under those circumstances. I'd attempt to report then, but it seems that enforcement isn't very... robust.

    At first I was taken aback by 0.55's loot system. But I was willing to adapt. I just want them to fix the zombies so they can't hit me when I'm standing behind them.

    I must admit though, I stumbled across a way to fight zombies that seems coincidental but may not be.

    Whenever I found myself butted up against a zombie, where my character is physically touching the zombie face to face, the zombie stopped hitting me and just started walking forward. As the zombie walked into me, it would start pushing me back. And I would start punching the zombie until it dropped. So far it's worked every time I was in that situation. I might try it again tonight after work. See what happens. Maybe I was just lucky.

    Zombies seem to pass straight through me, then hit me in the back. Maybe I am just unlucky? lol
