Whats your thoughts on the rebel camps, would they just be spread throughout the woods? Im kinda iffy on that one, now that tents are being put in place. Because in my mind, majority of players are putting their tents in the very deep wood areas, because they know players wont go in there, cause there is nothing to find. If the camps are put in place, there would be nowheres safe to put tents. I know that that could mean jack, as there is always the chance that players could stumble across the tent, but this would skyrocket the chances of finding them, and then, what would be the point? Players could just take your crap as they please. Edit: In addition to the items that you listed for the camps, id have a chance to find derringer's, and all the small firearms. If you think about it, rebels would be using ANYTHING they could get their hands on, any type of gun. So why use the "more powerful" weapons only?

So I went forum diving, and I couldnt find anything that suggested this but.....since you can craft weapons, and I know you can modify guns, and I know topics of this nature have popped up before, but, does it have some credibility to have the ability to put nails into a baseball bat? This would give the bat added melee potential, and the need to loot more. The way im thinking is like this: Player A finds a baseball bat and nails. Uses Duct Tape (or something creative, like using a hammer to drive the nails into the wood), nails, and bat to make the Nailed Baseball bat. Player A then proceeds to beat the crap out of infected and players alike. After time, some of the nails come out of the bat from constant use. Player then needs to find more nails to "re-nail" the bat. Opinions, suggestions?

Actually, I didnt get this from a movie, dont judge until you know where it came from. A bat with nails would ACTUALLY be very effective, if you took a second to think about it. What if the nails were rusted? What would happen if you got a nail to the head? What if the nails had infected blood on them? Which, from down the line, I hear infected have the chance to be looted (eg, the clothing and such, with infected blood on them, ive heard mentioned before.) If you could coat the nails in blood, what then? Dont be condescending till you take all the facts into consideration, which, not to start a flame war here, you didn't do. And if the bat gets stuck, has the capability of imparing said player in certain ways. Like, having a bat hanging from your arm would impair you a tad.

There is actually a very compact holster made specifically for the makarov, which is worn on the hip, and would be harder to spot on a player. Said holster actually has the makarov, the person slides the makarov down to pull it out, and the holster actually chambers a round in the makarov, having it ready to fire. I dont know about you guys, but I think this would be awesome.

While we're at the whole food section, gonna chuck my 2 cents in here. Would in not make sense to find some MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat, for those who don't know the military jargon :) ), in and around military base's? But, liking the above ideas too.

I can see it being possible, but would every survivor be capable of this? Im only thinking lore wise here, but, would EVERY single survivor have the know how to make a car? Even a small one at that? I do realize this is a video game, and these are the "ultimate" survivors, but, is it totally realistic. Not that I dont like the idea, I do. Im just wondering how feasible it is.

Note for something that JUST happened. MY friend was aiming at a zombie, So was I. Turns out she was directly in front of the zombie, I was directly behind it. I shot, then she shot literally .5 seconds after. I get hit, go unconcious, but live. Dayz, why you do.

Since the new 0.55 update, ive been wondering. If loot can quite literally spawn ANYWHERES, is there any major point to travelling over to prison island? Seeing as you can find the same gear there that you can find anywheres....opinions?

Depends if your joining private or public servers. Public servers share the same character between all of them. Private servers each have their own individual character per server.

Gunfight of the year. Me and a friend were looting out a town just north of electro (think it was called kamyshovo?) She finished looting the town and went to a hill behind the town to wait for me. Im looting a house when all of a sudden I hear voices. I tell her, and we start to keep a look out. She sees two players run through the town on the hill, then another 3 come by (we didnt know they were all together at first.) We didnt think they were friendly, because I could hear them talking about shooting people, so we decided to ambush them. She has a mosin without a scope, but, manages to snipe one of them in the head outside of the police station. Meanwhile, im waiting in the house still. I see the body, confirm the kill. Then another guy comes up to the body, and I hose him with a AKM. I go outside to check the area out, check a corner, turn around. Then a guy starts unloading on me, nicks me a few times. I duck back around the corner, and come out guns blazing, and manage a quick headshot. I got VERY lucky, since he only had a Sporter 22. We looted, and moved on. Turns out there was 5 guys in that group. Just goes to show, working together and you can take the world on :) She was streaming at the time, so we even managed to get it on video on youtube!

Might be useful, but, Im thinking a tranq gun would be more useful. Would have a much longer range, taser's are a up close and personal item, so im assuming most people would prefer the tranq.

This is pretty much something that would require people to work together to use. While thats good in its own right, like stated above, there are far too many components and factors to include. Seperate parts, finding ammo, FINDING THE DAMN THING IN THE FIRST PLACE, etc etc. Some players dont have people to play with, and this would almost exclude them from using this. As far as I know, there are not many items (and no weapons) that require more than one person to use, so, im thinking most likely no.
