There's no way I'd ever pick you up in a Helicopter. It honestly sounds like you're trying to get a hold of a Helicopter to me, and it was definitely a "far out" request.

I don't understand where Wednesdays update is. Rocket locked the topic and has not touched it in over 24 hours. Where's our updated release time? Is it really that hard to release a few small updates once every 7 days? At least fix the fucking graphical artifacts, that's not something you can postpone.

If you were kicked for high ping and the Helicopter crashed, you will be able to recover the Helicopter at its crash site when the server restarts. If you were kicked for a battle eye script, the Helicopter despawned and will not return for 7 days.

You're forgetting that these aren't wild horses. I would assume they are free horses that got out when society collapsed, so they'd already know humans.

A Bandit specifically wants contact, wants to kill the person, and wants to take everything they have. They camp specific spots and wait it out to kill you and take your stuff. A "Survivor" is not a good guy. A survivor is a guy, just like you, who is out on his own or with a small group, going in and out quickly, and if they run into someone, chances are a firefight will ensue where a victor emerges. A survivor, survives. Its you or them. So don't think "Survivor HQ" means "good guys that never shoot HQ"

What are you talking about? It's a Video Game, it has spawned loot locations, people camp loot locations in all kinds of Video Games. I spent entire periods when I was younger camping locations in EverQuest just for a rare spawn I knew spawned there. I spent hours looking for a rare or unique pet in WoW just because I knew it spawned there. I spend hours looking for rare loot in spawn locations in almost every MMORPG where a unique spawn occurs at. The term "camping" came around because campers would camp areas of monsters for rare loot or experience. Camping exists because locations in video games spawn loot and monsters. Calm it down, bud. This ain't Halo or CoD.

Loot Cycling is a normal part of the game. Rocket already commented on this. Loot Cycling gives you the chance to be killed by anyone coming to check. It's also how the game is meant to be played. It's actually quite retarded that you have to remove /everything/ from the area for it to respawn in 5 minutes, who the fuck wants to take tin cans? Almost any video game with loot will be farmed like this. Camping the area and checking for loot repeatedly. It's no different with DayZ. Rocket actually frowns upon server hopping the same location to find loot. Loot Cycling is perfectly normal. You're not smart and need to calm down waving the "exploit" banner. Duping is an exploit right now, sure, but you have to have the item in the first place to duplicate it.

Rocket has already said he wants to incorporate clothing into the game. He can just incorporate unique skins by adding packs of clothing rather than single clothing items. That GUE Commander skin is epic. The hat man, the hat.

Well, more or less, realistically it would be walking speed. And I don't know if you've checked the time it takes to travel in DayZ while running lately, but I can't imagine traveling by walking.

Nah, because the stuff you're looting has been picked over/ransacked. You're not the first survivor getting to the location. It's all just piled up and strewn about, except for the occasional hospital box or ammo box.

Kamenka is the easiest way to head north, along with Solnichniy. That's because theres nothing out there, it's all North/North East.

I don't think they should be in stables, at all, actually. They should have no set point where they spawn. I think they should be the rarest animal in the game, and perhaps only show up every few days as a spawn at all. They should be like any other animal, and you have to tame them by using two items, Horse Shoes and Saddles on them. They should require food quite frequently, or, a lot more than a car requires petrol, and they shouldn't be able to go much faster than, say, 40 or 50 KM/H on and off road (50 with turbo). They should also be able to be killed with one bullet like other animals, and should give like 6 or 8 meat.

EXACTLY. Spot on. I just imagined running up to a zombie and punching it and it doing the equivalent of like 15 damage, while 10 more zombies get on you and kill you. What a joke. But of course, a cheater who just runs into cities and alt f4's would think "punching" is worth while.

It takes about two seconds to find an enterable building in the big cities you can run into and run out of to slow the zombies down. You should almost NEVER have to log out. This game probably isn't for you, OP. And I'm sorry you think you know whats good for it. That quote right there is just plain stupid. Why even play the game? Why is it that the people who claim they aren't so good with English always figure out how to express they are pissed off and angry? Give it up, dude. In a real life zombie apocalypse if you are trying to crouch walk through a town and get caught by zombies, you're not going to start punching them and live. I promise you if you try to punch a zombie, it's going to punch back. And it's going to keep punching back while 10 others show up to punch you also. I find it hard to believe you're advocating the use of punches or whatever on a dead body thats not even going to feel a punch. It may just bite your fingers off and cause you to bleed. You are a defenseless survivor when you first start out because when people spawned with weapons they went around the coast shooting like crazy and shooting each other, attracting 100's of zombies and just causing retarded chaos. You do not and will not spawn with a weapon ever again, and your best defense is to prone within 100 meters of any zombie. The point of this game is not to sprint into town and log out and in and grab loot. The point of the game is not SPEED. It is hours of tedious work to get even a single weapon, and the point of the game IS NOT TO USE THAT WEAPON, it's to covet the weapon until you absolutely HAVE to pull the trigger. The game is not about the guns you find. Once again. It is about surviving in silence in towns and getting what you need to live and getting out.
