When i read the thread rocket made, about the possibility of scrapping the bandit skin in this thread http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=720 , I thought achievements would be a great option to earn the skin. Different achievements throughout the game will award you different skins(if there are added more skins of course). Lets say 50 survivor kills = Bandit skin as an example. Then you can make all sort of acheivements and add awards. But all the awards should be vanity items and not equippment like guns, ammo or medical supplies. The achievements would result in more activity in both pve and pvp. Some suggestions to what kind of achievements/awards there could be: 50 survivor kills = Bandit skin 1000 zombie kills = New survivor skin 10 bandit kills = New survivor skin 30 headshots on players = Camo skin Cook 500 meat = A chef's hat ! :D Repair a car/huey = Mechanic skin With some sort of menu to choose skin from at login/spawn. Other ideas i support -Melee weapons It should not be very effective, but enough to kill a zombie or two if out of ammo. -Squads Should be able to form groups. But the names of those in the group, should only be visable to the players within the group itself. -Missions To actually have some sort of objectives while roaming chernarus, would be great fun. :) I know there already been alot of talk about this.
