    Should zombies drop items?

This has probably been discussed ad naseum, but I don't read the forums much. I'd like to make the suggestion and discuss the pros of zombies dropping (or containing lootable items once killed). Zombies had a fairly high chance of dropping items in the mod (seems to me it was somewhere around 50%). Usually these were medical or residential items, such as bandages, soda and food. Not that we need more item spawn locations, but from a gameplay standpoint, this would be interesting for the following reasons: The player will have a reason to engage and kill zombies. Interacting with zombies should be at least a side-bar activity to the vehicle-hunting, pvp, base-building end-game; The player will make noise while killing zombies, attracting players and zombies. This will lead to more interactions in general and the zombie-engaging player will need to balance the choice to kill zombies and the loot they may drop with the need for stealth to avoid being overwhelmed, ammo usage and stealth vs. other players; The properly geared player will generally choose to use a gun, as opposed to melee weapons, to dispatch zombies, for the sake of efficiency and safety. But even players using melee weapons will attract other players and zombies since the attacking zombies should make some noise and the player will move around; Different zombie types could drop different loot types. Police and military could have a greater chance of dropping ammo and weapons, etc;I'd imagine this would not be hard to implement (at least until some design must go into determining loot tables for the various zombie types). Thoughts?
