    It just wouldnt work. What if a server has 1000 visitors every day? can you imagine the amount of survivors just lying down in a blanket in the middle of cherno? Also, the load on the server would be unecessary

    a I was thinking halfway between the walking speed (when youre holding shift) and jogging. This thing will not be fast at all.

    Im totally for this! Why has no one thought of utilizing cryengine 3? If its not possible, i wouldnt mind DayZ being on the ArmA 3 engine

    well it does have to have some cons... Im sure it would be easy enough to just hide it in a pine tree on the side of the road. It would pretty much just be a huge backpack that the play has to push. You have to decide for yourself if its worth hauling a shopping cart through the woods

    yeah but since vehicles are "so rare" (- a noob) this would quell all the complaining on the forums. I mean, a shopping cart is kind of like a vehicle right?

    new knockout mechanic

    getting knocked out is no fun. You get hit by a zombie/player/door and fall to the ground and start bleeding. You can see everything perfectly fine, watch everyone's actions, and determine what your next move will be. Theres no tension other than "will i be up again before i bleed out?". I suggest we switch this up a little to make it more fun. When you get knocked out, your screen goes completely black and you are unable to see anything. Your hearing is severely dampened, and when you do come to, your vision is blurry for a couple seconds. Think the blacking out of your vision will add a huge amount of tension. Should be very cool. What do you guys think?

    considering how long it takes to find a person, being a zombie would be a bit boring. You can run really fast and thats about it...

    They should be rarer than that. Maybe 2 encounters. Ive walked from north to south and back and its only like a 35 minute trip. Having random ghillie suit zombies in the woods doesnt make much sense either. Theres no RP reason. Maybe if the only spawned around deer stands...

    EXCELLENT WORK! this is insightful and useful for both experienced players and newbies. The only improvement I can suggest is adding a "How many shots it takes to kill a player" section to every review. Great thread

    Poll: should DayZ have classes?

    Perhaps there should be no class system, but the player can choose what he can "specialize" in. Like maybe he'll select stuff that suits his playstyle so we can have an entirely player run class system. Im adding this to the poll
