Hey, guys! I was messing around in the database on my server (DayZ Server Control Center) and I realized that I don't know what most of it's for. I would like to learn more so that I can tweak it. I played on a server that had base building, walking zombies, and a custom spawn selection. It was really cool and I would like to add some similar things. Would any of you know of a good tutorial that explains what everything is for? Also, how do I get the debug monitor to show up? Thanks in advance! :-)

Haha :-) I suppose I had that one coming. It's ironic because I was just thinking about that website. Anyway, thank you! I wasn't really wanting to learn how to write scripts, but maybe I was just overthinking it and thus I didn't search for a scripting tutorial. The internet is such a broad spectrum of knowledge. It can sometimes be hard to find the right thing without some guidance. :-) EDIT: Thanks for moving my thread to the right place... sorry about that.

Hey, guys! I've been playing 1.8.6.1 for a little while and it's pretty fun, but it's a bit difficult to find loot on some servers. Anyway, I haven't played the mod very much... I've mostly played DayZ Standalone. With that being said, what is your favorite version of the mod thus far? Thanks and I look forward to your input! :-)

How do you become energized and hydrated by eating apples? My character will be hydrated, but he will also be hungry and stuffed. How can I prevent that?

Hey, guys! I was perusing the forum and the internet trying to find an answer, but I haven't found anything current. How do I become hydrated and not stuffed? My character becomes stuffed after drinking from a well like three times. I want to be able to regenerate a little because I think I have lost a little blood. Thanks in advance! :-) - Alex

It must be a bug because my character was experiencing the same thing.

Thanks, guys! I am now able to keep my character hydrated. :-) Does the healing / healthy status still appear? Also, what is the deal with dead bodies? I just died on a six day character. :-/ A zombie crept up on me and then I started to run away, but the lag pulled me back into it and I started bleeding. It ruined both bandages that I had in pristine condition... ugh. :-/ I was fully geared, too! I tried to run back to him, but my first character died. My second made it to where the he died, but no sign. What gives? It was like a 30 minute span.

Hey, guys! So, I'm pretty new to DayZ and I am really enjoying it (even 0.55). In my recent character... I picked up a firefighter helmet, firefighter jacket, and a firefighter axe. It got me thinking... it would be pretty cool if someone made a small program that would let you design a character build (appearance and all that) by choosing all of the clothes and gear that you want until you are happy with how it looks and then you could scavenge the map for everything in the actual game. Maybe it could even show you where everything is most commonly found. :-) I don't know... I think it would be pretty cool! :-) What do you guys think? - Alex

I downloaded some cooperative missions for Operation Arrowhead and I get this message when I try to host a LAN game. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! - Alex

Hello. thanks for the reply! Well, as I said above... DayZ is not active in any way. I did find a fix, but it involves moving everything out of my MPMissions folder and then putting the Operation Arrowhead missions in it. It will work fine once I do this. Oh, and I do have a server installed (DayZ Server Control Center). Those are the files that I have to move out.

Hey, guys! I tried to ask this question on Armaholic, but the admin was a little rude and locked my thread because I guess it didn't belong in General Discussion. Anyway, no worries! :-) I hope this is the appropriate section! So, I was trying to host a LAN game in Operation Arrowhead and I kept getting this message. Anyway, after some troubleshooting... I figured out that I had to move everything DayZ out of my MPMissions folder in order to host a LAN game. Is there any way to start Operation Arrowhead and make it think that the MPMissions folder is somewhere else by using a .bat file or something? SET MPMISSIONS=C:\USERS\ALEX\DESKTOP\MPMISSIONS Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :-) - Alex

Hey, guys! I was messing around with the DayZ Server Control Center and I definitely have some questions. Lol :-) 1. Does it install rMod2.1 or do I have to download and install it manually? 2. I get this message (see attached) when I start the Control Center. I know that it is in fact updated to 112555. Should I just ignore this? 3. Also, before I get ahead of myself, I deleted my Arma 2 and ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead directories and then re-installed them from a fresh backup. I then went to Steam and started both of the games. I also verified the game cache so that it would update. Do I need to merge my Arma 2 and ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead directories in order for things to work properly? I checked to see if Arma 2 was enabled in Expansions and it is, but when I started the game I got the 'CA_Dubbing_Countattack' message and it went away after I merged the directories. I thought Combined Operation should have fixed that. By the way, I have the Arma X: Anniversary Edition so I know I have all the necessities. It was super cheap on Steam about a year ago! ;-) Sorry for the long post, but my brain was beginning to hurt after troubleshooting for a long time on my own so I figured I would ask you guys. Okay, I found a fix, but it's not entirely practical. I was troubleshooting and I moved all of the DayZ files out of my MPMissions folder. This worked. I was able to start a server with ease. I wonder if there is a way to start Operation Arrowhead and make it think that the MPMissions folder is somewhere else. SET MPMISSIONS=C:\USERS\ALEX\DESKTOP\MPMISSIONS Any ideas?

Oh, gotcha! Well, my apologies. I actually logged in to give an update. I pretty much answered all of my questions. 1. rMod2.1 doesn't install through the Control Center. It must be downloaded separately. 2. This message can be ignored because everything is working great! 3. Oh, and I did just that as I stated above. I still don't understand why you have to do this because I thought that's what Combined Operations accomplished.

It definitely isn't working and DayZ is the cause. I did a fresh install and tested it before installing DayZ. It worked fine, but it is messed up now that I installed DayZ. Can I not host an Arma 2 game with DayZ installed?

Anyway, I made a private LAN sever for me and my buddy a while back and we both thought it would be cool to have a pistol to start out with. Can any of you show me how to create a custom loadout? No, yeah... I totally understand that! That's the part this is strange. I'm not trying to run DayZ. I would use DayZ Commander if I was. I'm just trying to play Operation Arrowhead. Actually, I think I may know what the problem is. I didn't make a separate directory for Pwnoz0r's server. I have used it before, but I completely forgot to do that this time. Do you think that is what's messing me up?

Well, I am not even able to specify what mission I want. I crashes right after this. I intend to play some of the zombie co-op missions.
