I am so sorry kind sir...can you ever forgive me?

Ok.....figured since I am classified as a New Player (only 110 hours on) I would post this here. This is mainly my observations since the last 2 patches and how stuff has changed since then and some random stuff from before. Mainly it's for new people so they have some idea what they are walking into with their face. 1- New Blue Truck. Found the new truck this morning while farting around in Vavilovo. Thought it was only one of the 400 broken military deuce and a halfs you see...but blue. Got up to it after I cleared all the houses and sheds near it. I went to the back of it and saw that I could open the gate...(ooh neat)...so I did that then got the get in icon...(ooh neat).....did that......then tried to get out......woops....well I can open that gate...but no exit icon ( son of a....)...tried to use the mouse wheel....nada.....so...I exit the server. This brings on a wave of panic after I do that due to a past issue when I saved on a second floor of a house and when I came back I was in the interior of the house and could not get out (eat a bullet time). Came back into the server a few minutes later. Standing behind the truck (phew). 2- Zombies. So last Tuesday they put out the new patch. I get on some time on Wednesday and sneak from tent city north of the air field ( waste of time unless you like books) through the trees and end up in Novaya Petrovka. I see a few zombies but avoid them like the plague. At this point I have my silenced 1911 out just incase I run into some spaz kids who was to steal my stuff I worked hard at getting (yes I know...100 hours isn't hard work but hitting pretty much every city on the map is hard work). So I start clearing houses from the west side of the city. I finally run into a spot that I can't avoid the zed so I get out my axe. Go up behind him and wack em.......then wack em again......he attacks...wack em again.....again....again...again.....(wth?).....one more time.....he goes down...now I am used to after getting wacked a few times and bleeding that my jacket is shot...nope.....my pants (huh?)...well so is my vest..ruined (errrr).....so I changed my pants out (always carry extras of clothes). I spot the police station (good loot supposedly according to the forums). Head in that direction. Get to near the side door.....Zed in the way...well lets use the silenced 1911...it's the only Zed I have seen for a while ......shoot em 2 shots to his neck/ head area. So I quickly reload and add ammo to the mag ( I have 2 7 round mags at this point). Back up a bit so I am in a corner of a concrete wall behind the station. Next thing I know I have 3 zeds coming around the corner full speed at me (eeek). Shoot them with the 1911...one gets a hit in. Reload again to the second mag but don't get a chance to reload the first mag. 4 Zeds (gah). Kill 3 with the 1911 and try to switch to my AKM....nope...try again...nope...all this timke the4 4thn Zed is hitting me...a saucy little woman in a red and yellow outfit. I go to my axe knowing that I am in trouble. Wack her like 6 times.....she dies.....now I am bleeding and something is broken. Now I am the paranoid sort and have broken all kinds of limbs over my limited time in game so I have a splint. So quickly splint and bandage. Only yo have another zed come around the corner (sigh)...still no go with akm ( it has a 30 round mag that is full)...soooo axe it is again...bleeding and broken again (still no clue why I am not dead or at least grey screen). Fix my issues and enter the station...pick up and MP5 and 4 mags. Head out. This takes me to this morning when I am fiddling around in Vavilovo. I have been avoiding the Zeds so...not much excitement until I decide to shoot one. 2 are about 30 yards from each other on the road leading into town. Good line of sights around me. So AKM out....pooped the first one in the head...dead. The second one is still wandering....at this point I am spinning in a circle waiting for like 80 zeds to attack (akm, 1911 and MP5) all locked and loaded. Nothing...no wall of Zeds....so I cap the next one.....wait...nothing (wth?) So I try an experiment. 2 Zeds are right next to each other between 2 houses. One is walking towards me.....that other away. I get myself into a good defensible spot and shoot the one that is coming towards me in the head. They are like 3 feet apart and the one coming towards me is farther away. The one going away just keeps going (uhhh). No other ones come at me. I find a few seconds later that their is one on the other side of a house from me. Kill both of those. So I spend the next few minutes in a killing frenzy with my unsilenced AKM. Got like 16 of em (field nearby was filled with em). Then I run into the new blue truck. Deaf Zombies...weird. 3- No fruit/Veggies. I loved that stuff...oh well. Guess it is canned food for me. 4-New Areas. Found some new areas while out farting around. Sort of like military/ park areas. Filled with Zeds but not much else if you already have even the basic gear. Would be a good place for a new player to go to if they had a decent ranged weapon with 12ish rounds. 5- Weird loot distribution. Last week the outhouse was the place to go. Houses almost a waste of time to enter. Now this week seems to be spread out better. Every 3rd outhouse has something in it. Well this seems good enough for now.....have to get ready to go to the place that pays me. Sorry if it is long and drawn out. Enjoy folks.

Try a hoe also for melee....also a good one hit weapon. Nothing like killing Zeds with a pristine hoe.

I've found some crash sites....even some new ones and found nothing at the site. Maybe someday.
