Well guys after today’s persistence wipe the guys and I have decided to shelf this game for a while. Putting in far too many hours just to have it wiped with little or no warning. I’m not trying to create any discontent or protest against the man just wanted to say thanks to all of you that positively contribute to the forums and wish you a better gaming experiences in the future. I’ll pop in from time to time to see what’s going on in the forums and look for that key word “PERSISTANCE”. We’re hearing good things about the Ark initiative so we’re going to wonder over and see what the fuss is about. I honestly hope there is some major progress (my opinion) in the near future with this game. It has been a lot of fun and 10 X worth the $29 I paid. I have invested twice as much time into DayzSA than I have in any other game I’ve ever played and it sucks to have to move on but I’m losing my appreciation and need to break away before I become one of the grumblers. Thanks for the words of support. I wasn't so much pissed that everything was lost just upset that persistence wasn't persistent. Half the fun is setting up a camp but not so much fun that I want to do it every day. Ya know what I mean?

Has anyone had a problem with persistence? Our campsite that we've spent 2 days building has now disappeared. I know its possible that someone raided it but everything is gone and no one would take every single item. Even if they wanted to it would be near impossible to move it all in the amount of time the camp was unguarded. I was so stoked to have persistence now I'm back to being disappointed. I don't want to loose my new barrel after waiting so long to get it. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT!!! Damn I'm upset.

Found my first barrel 10 minutes after logging in. Its puke green and the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I also saw a tire.

Police station in Nadezhdino had six pair of Gorka pants of different patterns. No gorka jackets found yet. 1911 found with full mag next to it. Weapons cleaning kits are back.

The global chat might be a bug but it is working. I was chatting with someone in Cherno and I'm in Vybor (just wanted to test it). Needs to be disabled. Lots of useless chatter cluttering up the bottom of my screen. 40 people on the server and everyone has something to say.

Does anyone know if persistence is back?

I also cannot drag anything into hands but hotbar is working for me Rain is back Thanks for the hint on making rags. I thought it had been taken out. Heli crash is still at Vybor. Loot is easy to find. I was geared in no time. Maybe its because I was there first. Full server and I haven't run into a soul.

After server restart my original character was back and all is right with the world. All of my previous post was as if it never happened. Good thing because a map with absolutely no loot makes for a tough time.

Logged in first thing this morning and my character had reset on the beach. I went from Electro to Dubky and didn't find a single item of loot. I decided to try a different server and once logged in my character was reset back to the beach. I immediately logged out so I wouldn't loose my progress and tried a third server. It reset my character and spawned me in another beach side location. I logged out and logged into the first server I started on and was again reset to a fresh spawn location. All of these servers and public servers which I play on frequently and I've never had any problems with them. I decided to stay this server and push to the NWAF. I went from just east of Electro all the way to NWAF and didn't find a single piece of loot. Not a hat, not a bat, not a jacket, not a pot. Absolutely not one single item. I picked berries/apples and drank from water wells to get me thru. I hit the Vybor military base the NWAF and the airfield tent city. NOTHING! No loot is spawning at all. I did notice that the heli crashsite, which always spawns between Pustoshka and the Vybor military base, was not there. I don't know what else to do except log out and try another sever but it would to suck to loose all the ground I covered this morning. Has anyone else had any luck on 57 stable after Wednesdays maintenance?
