Wondering if anyone might want to maybe group up on Breaking Point? I've only played this version of DayZ once and honestly it's got me back into DayZ (stopped playing for months now waiting on standalone). Would be awesome to team up with a few people. Maybe make a video series of our journey? :) (I have Skype as well btw.)

Well I was at a hospital and found some antibiotics. It said something about fighting off diseases and what not. Has anyone ever used them? Would be awesome if we got hit we'd have maybe a set amount of time to find and take antibiotics or we'd either die or transform into a zombie (which we wouldn't continue playing as and would count as a death pretty much).

I was just thinking it would be awesome to have zombie swarms just spawn in randomly on players. Not saying every so minutes but just random. Don't know how it would be done, maybe if a player is standing still for 5 minutes or so in one spot? Maybe just randomly? Just have like 5 or so zombies appear opposite of viewing direction? (Coming after the player of course.) Might keep players on their toes and create high tension moments. :)

Well my real life friends don't seem to play this much and I was wondering if anyone on the West Coast would like to play some time? I've got Skype and can start a server as well. Just looking to partner up in this apocalypse. :thumbsup:

So once you destroy a building, does it stay destroyed on the server forever or...?

Happened to me a few times a while ago. All's you need to do is switch to another weapon (be it a hatchet, primary, or secondary weapon.) And there you go! Don't know why it does that sometimes but it's pissed me off before... I'd run off and think I could kill any zombies that follow and boom... can't shoot/hack at them until I switch weapons. Just switch to another weapon and then switch back to the one you want.

lol Well as long as you can play the game I guess that's what matters :P Sweet new home btw :P With all the players out there hopefully none wonder in and take your gear :P

Yeah this is very disappointing. Which update are we supposed to have installed? Every time I try connecting it says "Bad Version, blah blah blah".... Has Vilayer said anything? Are they even working on it? Gah....

I recently leased a server and to be honest I haven't really even played much on it.... I really wanted to try it solo and was hoping to maybe lock it for an hour and just kill zombies and try to survive in this apocalyptic world... I know, I know... there's other games that I can do that on.... WHAT EVER. What I love about this game/mod is the feel of everything. The world is huge. So much possibility. I love the gameplay. I can't find that in another game. We need to be able to control our servers the way we wish. Why lease a server when all everyone does is horde up outside map boundaries? Where people snipe others running around trying to survive and get a feel for the game in the cities? I honestly can't stand that. People think they're so awesome because they killed someone else. Hurray.... You're awesome bro! .... Right.... Most people aren't even looking for you or trying to engage with you. Everyone is focusing on the zombies, not the other players enough, so now you think you're cool because you killed someone who wasn't really even looking out for you.... I just want to play this game with friends and have a good time. Fight zombies, try and survive, build our own camps where the rest of the world is GONE. Worried about people hoarding stuff and looting the best things on private servers and then jumping with open servers? Make characters server specific. I think if things don't change I won't be paying for the server next month. Why pay for something I can't really enjoy myself?

I honestly wished each server would just host it's own database with character info. This would stop people from server hopping and what not... I also wish it could go private as well. Either by password, or some form of registration where an admin can allow access.

I'm hoping it's just I caught them at a bad time and Vilayer is a good server host, but so far it hasn't been too good of an experience. Here's hoping all of this is fixed soon :(
