Ha, no kidding. Its all about perspective. I've found that if you go on low pop servers and find a snipers vantage, zombies make for great target practice. Play with the "page up-page down" buttons to get your elevation and you'll eventually get the feel of it. The more I practice the luckier I get.

I wonder, is that what they were or do we call 'em that to justify the shot?

OK gang, I have to say this late afternoon/night time play clock sucks-a-bunch. Build 55 has been a difficult pill to swallow as it is but adding over exaggerated sun glare and darkness to the mix just makes it unfun. If you’re lucky you can get an hour or so of good play time but then as the clock ticks down it starts to become a strain. Having zombies drop out of nowhere and start ripping your clothes to ruin was bad enough but now it’s a pain in the arse & balls to try and scout ahead and plan your run when the sun is blazing in your face as if you were looking through a dirty windshield. I agree with some of the others, one step forward and two back. 54 has been my best playing experience hands down. But don’t listen to my ramblings; look at your own server list. The full servers are the ones running morning and midday schedules. All the ones running at 1600 or later are under populated. You hardcore players might like this (less loot to share or people to deal with) but there’s no way this can be the majority. At the DayZ SA office Monday morning meeting the data analyst is going to present a pie chart showing the lack of participation or the how the sales numbers have dropped since the 55 build and how much further they’ve dropped since the implementation of the late afternoon/night time clock. This translates into less money getting spread around the old office budget. Bosses and investors don’t like that and that’s because they are the ones who are really calling the shots. So I’m hopping Fat Daddy with the big cigar cracks some sculls down in the cubicle farm and gets this ship turned around. Or maybe I don’t know anything. That’s right! You don’t know anything about what you’re saying! (I put this here so you self-proclaimed admins won’t have to waste your time writing it)

What is Whitelisted? I'm finding tons of 308 ammo, quite a few boxes of 12 gage, 22, X39mm, 357 and a couple 9mm. only guns I've found has been 22 and AK74, so I'm fighting with my trumpet. All my backpack spaces are taken up by useless ammo in the hopes I'll find a nice weapon or some 5.45. Think I need to migrate to the other side of the map.

Has anyone noticed if you have a weapon in your hand then right click on food or water to consume, it drops the weapon but does not complete the eating or drinking action. You have to initiate the action a second time to complete. In 20 hrs (2 days) of playing haven’t seen a single piece of spawned fruit, box of matches or tripod. I’ve seen 1 pot but left it because I don’t cook, found 1 of each sewing kit but haven’t seen any others and not a drop of rain. Someone suggested eating worms, doesn't that make you sick? As I said before I don’t cook but must you have a pot to cook meat? Can’t you just throw it in the fire? I’m not a heavy gamer, in fact DayZ SA is the only game I have and I'm really digging on it, but I’d like to try playing some of the private servers. Can anyone tell me how I go about getting access to any of these and what does HIVE refer to?

I agree. Why make tents so abundant if there just going to despawn at restart. Here's a question, why cant you take a backpack into your hands. That would really be an awesome option. Id never bother with tents if I could do this. Like the new build, hate the clunky melee.

Hey guys, I watched this video the other day and it made me curious about something? The video is a DayZ contest where a bunch of players compete in a death match style game until there’s only one team left, but what has me intrigued was the commentator’s perspective. It seems they had the ability to move around the map and view the action from any position. Not only from top down but also from the players view. It’s like they had noclip, fly mode and a 1PP bot all in one. My question here is can an admin do this on a server he is hosting? If I were to host a server can I scroll around in this fashion and watch whatever is taking place on my map? Do the hosts of the servers we join have this capability?
