    I think side chat should be enabled. Just for the sake of chatting with ppl on the server. Communicating in direct chat is not cool if you want to ask for help about the game etc. And forging alliances is hardly possible with the direct chat. Approaching somebody to be able to direct chat is always dangerous if you cant tell them you come in peace. Imo side chat itself doesnt change the gaming experience at all though. It makes playing just a lil bit more entertaining.

    I got the same issue. Still... like in 1.6 .17 and 1.7.1 before aswell. After i installed the hotfix it was running pretty nicely 30-70fps. But as i played the FPS gradually decreased ending up on 10fps once again... I thought it would be the damn rain. I tried to change servers daytime, nighttime, rain, no rain but the problem persisted. I made a break of playing for some hours aswell but the low fps stayed when i tried to play another session. My GPU is used by 10% most of the time. Rarely it spikes up to 50% but thats it

    Well i got the same issue aswell. I got it since i started in 1.6. There i had sometimes good fps, sometims <10. In 1.7 it was locked to 10-15fps all along and now in 1.7.1 its stuck below 10. Singleplayer never caused problems . My MSI Afterburner shows me a 10% GPU usage but my CPU is running at 50-80% Hope that announced hotfix finally solves this problem for me. Its really a great project and i appreciate you work, but it is still unplayable for me. Specs: -AMD Phenom II 4x 1.6ghz -Nvidia 275 Gtx -6gb ram runnign Win7 Ultimate
