That's common but is it really respawn rates? Is there even any respawn while you're in the area? An area I clean is generally clean until I leave and comeback, what I've seen happen is zombies you aggro from far and don't reach you before the gunfight ends might suddenly lose interest and wander around near the place. It could be that as we move, even in such a small range we're despawning and spawning zombies from low-yield buildings that are really far away.. Zombies that will come out running immediately at the sound of gunfire. *shrug*

God I'm totally not stopping playing Alpha. It does feel like Alpha but the concept of the game is so great I just can't stop playing. I'll definitely need to join the group of players doing this to alleviate frustration though. Rocket did claim this was not intentional, it would be fixed, essentially making this out to be 'cheating'. Which goes back to the point, can we ban players because of it? Edit: 3 minutes ago obviously means the two threads were being typed at roughly the same time.

Is there an ETA? I need to vent. We had a successful run, being alive for quite a few days now, Ghillie Suit, SVD, GPS.. Spamming N/S barrack runs for NVGoggles. And when we finally get out to go to a city help some starters, one of us gets sniped in the forest. Perfectly natural, death is inevitable, this might have been the start of an awesome PvP experience. But there's no such thing among "experienced players" anymore. It's hard to get a clear shot in the woods so the bandit sniper just runs to the body carelessly receiving heavy gunfire as he goes, picks up the SVD and DCs IMMEDIATELY, disappearing into another server with the rarest weapon in the game and cheering like a schoolgirl... ...Probably. This DCing thing has bothered me for a while. Turns the PvP in the game to DCWars, the fastest to Alt+F4 lives the longest. A group losing the SVD to an abuser makes this all that more annoying. Has this been classified as an exploit? Can we kick and ban players over it yet at least?
