Im sorry im new I just got my computer the other day. How do I do that?

Ok so im not really sure if this is off the topic. But i just downloaded DayZ and when i try and launch it magnifies the screen and makes the mouse about 4 inches on my screen. Sometimes it will even crash... Does any one know any thing about this and is there any way to fix it? I really want to play DayZ!
