I used to rock hunter gear until i found some flat gorka jacket and pants. Combined with an improvised backpack and damaged beige ballcap my guy is pretty much invisible at night. When all you see are blotches of light and dark, the gorka and imp backpack disrupt your body shape like crazy. Of course thats during the night where its tougher to see anything anyway but compared to all other clothing i think it is pretty amazing.

The knife i agree but if youve ever gone camping in the woods, you know there are sticks everywhere. Ive been camping for 25 years and never once actually needed an axe for firewood. Tons of sticks everywhere and if you have a big branch/log you can usually break it between two trees by wedging it between them and pushing until it snaps. Youd never be unable to find a stick in a forest. Thatd be like putting your hand in a lake and not finding water.

I feel your pain! First day in .58 stable i had to forgo a stone knife because i couldnt find a rock on the beach before i started starving to death. I think it was up to 14 attempts before i ran to an orchard to save my life.

Trying to get back on topic. I have reported a server who was constantly kicking (fragnet) and got a cookie cutter reply saying they take it seriously when a server isnt taking the TOA of BI and will contact the server owner. Havent had a problem since. Take it for what it is but even a cookie cutter reply can still mean they are doing something about it even if its not fragnet obviously.

Although i rarely play public servers any more, i think it is a valid concern that some public admins are abusing their position. If you want to have your own personal server all to yourself then pay the extra money for a private one. Instead of having a "home base" server to gear up and keep your stash and then hop around looking for pvp.

If you find one with a winchester and a bunch of svd mags in it. that'd be mine lol

i think if they implement a few more options for rain gear it would make things a bit better. rain/water repellent jackets come in a million different colours, many of which are camo. hunting jackets are almost always water proof. same with the pants. 10mins late on rogershrubs post lol looks what happens when you tend to a baby while posting!

Dont forget to make a stone knife. That way you can chop down a bush to make the stick needed. As well as use it to tear up a shirt or something to make rags to combine with the stick for your splint.

Hi all, i may have missed in search but I'm wondering if there are any plans to be able to damage your gear yourself. Like others, depending on the type of gear, i prefer to wear worn/damaged gear because it is not all shiny and i feel less exposed for KOS. I was hoping they will impliment a way for you to scuff up or muddy up your gear to make it less "NIB" looking. Maybe use a stone to smash your clothes or go to the edge of a pond to rub mud on it or something along those lines. Doesnt have to ruin your stuff either, since a little dirt or mud on your jacket doesnt mean it wont still be able to keep you warm lol

Very good point! Or take a tire iron and lay it accross the battery terminals.... although items despawn in 30 mins right so i guess itd only ruin something for 30 before it spawns new someplace else..

Cool idea but i dont think they will move in to the "extreme survival paintball course" business when they are a video game company and all ready have something awesome that everyone can enjoy without having to spend the money to fly to the czech republic.

Unless there are "stores" that will exchange this currency for goods people actually need, this won't work. Trading will always be whatever the other is willing to pay for the item they need. If i need mosin rounds and all i have are shirts to give, if the guy doesnt want shirts im screwed - ya dig?
