There are all ready many aspects that make the game about surviving in an infected wasteland "realistic". But i think the game will work even without the poop. But then again, i'm an optimist. So it could very well bring the Bohemian empire down by not including wiping your ass with poison ivy ... Don't get me wrong, there were lots of disappointed people when they found out we wont be able to smear walls with poop notes, so you arent alone.

This has been brought up numerous times. This is a video game, not a poop simulator. If they put in pooping then people will be like "yay, finally poop!....but why is it always brown? Sometimes in real life its green or beige and runny and smells like chicken" etc etc. So yeah, its a slippery slope (pun intended) that im sure the devs dont wish to deal with.

I havent been to any mil bases in .59 but i can tell you that the only ammo i have found outside a police station was 10 rounds of .22 in a pistol mag. That is searching both big cities and small towns. The only other ammo was a mag for the scorpion and a stripper clip for a mosin, both in a police station. Weapons ive found outside of police station have been amphibian, magnum, sportster, trumpet, and both pump shotguns. Im guessing someone dropped the pistol grip one and wasnt spawned in the house. Anywho, looks like ill have to follow everyone's lead and flock to the mil bases...yay.

I've read that the bus is known to be very under powered and head-start and downshifting is required for any type of hill. Seems like it is a known issue.

I'm sure it has been suggested to be able to cut brake lines of vehicles or to pour diesel in to regular gas tanks snd vice versa to destroy motors right? But with bicycles on their way, wouldn't it be fun to be able to run around with a screwdriver or adjustable wrench and go around removing seats off all the bicycles you find? Or loosen all the spokes so the rim collapses as they ride down the road? Or remove the brake pads? All these things can be accomplished with an adjustable wrench. Sure, you could just bash the hell out of the bike and render it useless but i think it would be far more enjoyable to undo the steering column nut and twist the handlebars to the side and watch the poor sucker try to ride off with it all cocked to the side... and then shoot him, naturally. I think that would be super fantastic myself :)

I am assuming like cars, bikes will be modular, yes. But are they simply going to be "add/remove" parts wise or could there be "altering"? Just like in cars. Will you be able to tamper with those parts or will you only be able remove things? I think tampering with things would be more fun then simply removing a tire then running off to hide it in the woods. Or just simply stealing the car/bike.

I would think the headgear would become the new gasmask in terms of most wanted lol

I beat someone to death with my bare hands this afternoon. They had only a couple rounds in their mosin and didn't bother putting it down after it was empty lol He had a motorcycle helmet which makes me think that i totally would have broken my hands punching it so many times!

I'm almost positive there is a nicer way to say that... lol

I first discovered dayz because i google searched "hunting with sks" which took me to youtube and down the rabbit hole. I know this game isnt meant to be a hunting sim but if they can perfect the hunting aspect of it, it'll be my online heaven since hunting games almost always suck lol

I have run in to this just the once so far. I reported them and it seemed to have worked in my case. I agree with the OP, don't take that kinda crap, report it!

While not MOA at 100yrds like some hunting rifles, smooth bore shotguns are still very much Minute Of Man at that distance. Most of the time they are used for hunting hogs or deer and while the kill zone of a deer is roughly 8 inches, smoothbores can certainly hit it at 50yards. Man sized target would be no problem.

We should also have to routinely trim our toe nails. Pretty sure big toenails would damage our socks and boots, not to mention be painful on long runs in work boots etc. Then make it like opening food. If you have nail clippers then it takes no time and is safe. But if you use a hunting knife, hatchet you risk cutting yourself lol

Spawned near electro and saw someone running towards town. Not normally in to chatting with strangers i decide what the hell so i follow. As im chasing him i see he runs right passed a z and aggros it. He's fighting it barehanded and i run up and help out. We down the z and he thanks me. Then another guy runs up and asks if we are friendly and asks about the dead guy, then he sees its a z. I type out. Dude asks "which one of you is cash81?" I raise my hand. Just then bullets fly from someplace else. Guy i saved gets shot, i get hit and run for cover. I get behind a building and start bandaging when a mil geared dude walks out from the side where i came from and shoots me down. That was when i decided to quickly go back to my lonewolf style from then on lol

I think it is going to be like WoW. Millions played then it got boring once you hit endgame with all your chars. Then you un-sub until the next xpac. Wen xpac hits, the servers light up again with everyone returning. The same will happen once a major patch happens or, at the latest, when beta hits. People are just bored of running around doing the same shit they have been doing for a year. Once stuff improves, all those who are waiting on the sidelines will return. It may just take beta for that to happen though.
