been playing on that server a few days now. finally made it to novo about a week ago but haven't played since. got on today and found a couple of really nice guys when i walked towards the town square. they set up a tent in the square for anyone to "take a penny, leave a penny". a few more joined and we hung out by the fire. one showed me where to get a gas mask (been looking since .55!) then another guy showed up and we went looking around for the guard shacks. at no point did i think these guys were out to trick anyone or backstab. it was a fun time and so far seems like these gents are for real. (although they say sometimes you get the odd bandit who thinks certain parts aren't technically IN novo) either way. i like the interaction after so long lone-wolfing it.

Break out the hercules, man. Green and black is the only way to rock. Or yellow if youre extra badass.

Agreed. If anything all notes should be written overtop existing text. Like someone took a red pen and wrote over a page from Moby Dick. Making it more difficult to read and making it more immersive.

It's funny how much he thinks he affects the lives of others. When im sure 90% of the people he "kills" just say "oh well, i was tired of this char anyways".

All those survivors received timely professional medical care in a hospital with intense surgery and teams of medical staff. A guy with a rag and sewing kit would not be able to fix himself after being shot in the head lol Edit: if it were only to last a few minutes before you died thatd be cool like steak touched on. All the side effects and stuff only prolonging your demise for a short time. Maybe long enough to crawl away and hide so your assailant might not find your body thus robbing him of your loot. But def cant be survivable.

Or hordes of infected that bleed?

What would be great as well is that the blood trail was persistant. That way you could go in to a town and see blood all over the streets and doors and everything lol

Seen it mentioned before here in the forums. Seems it can be fixed by restarting the game itself. Something about the server not sending/receiving the correct up-to-date info about your character and gear etc. Same with loot. The server will be empty and once you restart the game and log back in to the very same server it should now have loot. Paraphrasing and all that but something to try next time it happens. Purple monkey dishwasher.

Since i dont do much extreme long distance shooting, i am enjoying my ak74 with kashtan scope.

we need more dead or alive skins. whats the point of playing a video game without a raging hard-on.

it runs better because there's not as many infected roaming around. also they don't respawn. so if you are on a server that has dropped a ton of zombies, there are that many less things to load. (until the server resets though)

or just make you sit by the campfire and pass out lol

im sure eventually the players that kos all the time will grow tired of being dicks. then i hope they decide that actual interaction makes for a much more enjoyable game. i used to stay far away from anyone i saw after being kos'd several times. then i decided "what the hell, i can always just gear up again" so i went looking for people. every now and then you meet some nice ones. and when you do, you really appreciate the interaction. you feel like there ARE people out there like you who are just trying to survive and not looking to ruin anyone's day lol

I think you came in at a better time than back when it first came out lol apparently it is much more playable now. Also, keep in mind that this is all one big testing ground. Work in progress. We are testing what the devs give us so whatever is "broken" know that it is most likely being worked on at some point lol Have fun out there, and in here! :)
