Finally found a winter hunting jacket to complete the set.

I hate how they are trying to "fix" 3pp in order to prevent "abuse". It is only abuse when pvping. Im sure 90% of the lone wolf, true survivors (hunting/crafting/non mil server hoppers) rarely get in to cherno/bernzino firefights. So for all of us who rarely pvp, we get the shaft because they are trying to fix the abuse of something to appease pvpers?? I was pretty sure this game wasnt trying to be the next big pvp game out there...

So my DayZ life has been looking for new meaning lately. Ive travelled the entire map, have been learning the ins and outs of the larger cities as well as finding almost all of the items dayz has to offer. Crafting and different playstyles have been fun. Even some pvp here and there. Still havent tried bandit yet but it isnt very appealing to me. Bugs and feedback as usual but lately ive been logging on less and less. But then i remembered: bicycles. There was talk that they would be implemented. And then this last status report they reminded me that they are indeed coming down the pipe. And now, i have a new goal. Survival is not enough any more. Good gear and a belly full of food will not suffice. Oh no, there is a whole new game afoot. Shooting cyclists. Once the first itteration of the bicycle comes out, until my last dying breath, i vow to shoot at anyone riding a bicycle in DayZ. I dont care if it brings down every rabid infected on me from miles around. I will shoot at you, cyclist. Even if i have 1 bullet left and i am starving while looking down at a trophy sized boar or deer.... if i see a bike go by, or hear a little bell... they will get that otherwise life saving shot. I will go so far as collect bikes from around the map and set up my very own free bike exchange with signs and balloons just so that i can shoot at them as they ride away. Right in their dirty, rear tire wetspot cyclist backs. And it will please me. Right to my core.

That would add so much to the game. Fighting off not only cold, but frostbite on exposed fingers if you dont have gloves/toes if you have poorly insulated or wet boots. Plus tracking game and people in fresh snow. Not to mention the lack of fresh food so youd be forced to save those cans and preserves in a stash for the winter months.

I bring my truck because I can't carry all my gear, 3 friends, and 2 canoes on my back for the 200km trip to where we park and unload lol

Please do this.There is nothing i enjoy more than watching tour de france highlights of crashes. When 50 spandex wearing pedalphiles eat pavement all at once i honestly go from six to midnight from unadulterated happiness. So if i am able to open up with an akm and a 75 round drum, or just drive a truck through the race, filling up the cargo box with bike pieces and body parts i will know there is a god, and that he loves me.

AK74. Decent mid range sniper rifle but still has full auto for close quarters. Mosin hits harder but is slow on follow up shots. Long range shots with the PU isnt great and a far away moving target is extremely hard to hit. Im sure youll have more use with the ak74's range.

I recommend the gents of novo us 50 private server. It has a safe zone that is pretty well respected and always has a few nice people inside that you can hang out and trade with if you are looking for safe interactions with others. However, you have to survive the journey to novo lolLike bio said, this isnt a great patch .57 so if you are frustrated with things just know they are continuing to improve many aspects of the game (central loot economy being one of the top priorities atm). There are much fewer zombies and loot is abundant since the resets pop all new loot every 4 hours. Welcome back and enjoy!

But if its a hardcore survival game why would wall peaking be an issue? Unless, of course, you are pvping. But pvp is for COD scrubs who just want to gear up and shoot at things in elektro so for someone like you who is clearly a purist, how is wall peaking hurting your enjoyment of the game?

Actually, for those who like to gloss over the factd, most servers were spawning thousands and thousands less items than they were meant to. The loot was broken on tons of servers. This was confirmed by the devs repeatedly. So until they fixed the broken system, they went back to the old one. Which is on the other end of the spectrum for broken. They will eventually sort things out and get it right.

Its like having a fresh install every time you power on, and at these prices ill never go back to HDD. :)

And we get your answer of "i like 1pp so everyone needs to play more of that because i dont have anyone to play with" as well as "everyone plays 3pp only because its easy" well i guess you only play with melee weapons right because playing with a gun is easy. So be more hardmode and stop taking the easy way out. No eating, no drinking, no weapons. True hardmode. I like my way, you like yours. Nuff said. PS your post might not be beat to death, but the points you bring up are.

i'd just like to ask. what's the point of having different colour vests? or backpacks? or jackets? what's the point of wearing a gas mask or shades? what's the point of having so many varieties of clothing options when you'd never see any of the stuff you picked out for your char if you only ever played in 1pp? call me vain. but i like being able to see what my char is wearing. i actually care about how my jacket looks with my vest and pants. i really enjoy the army look, but also hunter cammo and all black is great as well. hell, i'm currently playing a guy who is in search of all winter gear to go with a gas mask and pilot helm. for me, my gear doesn't simply mean a way to avoid detection in the bush. so if i would never get to see my stuff, what's the point of having so many different choices out there? so OTHERS can see my choice of clothing/gear? the only time i 1pp is when im shooting my weapon. that is the only time i like not seeing my guy. i like being able to look down the iron sights or scope to feel like im actually firing the gun. apart from that, i would rather see as much of my char as possible. but like you said, if the new camera removes wall peeking then that's all good. although the whole point of "unfair advantage" is that one party has access while the others don't, is clearly fixed by playing in 1pp only servers where nobody on the server can do any peeking of any kind.
