it is more common as an outdoors & survivor item than as an item (not) often found in hospitals. Hospitals have blankets and maybe electric heating equipment for hypothermia but not heat packs that often are used outdoors by hunters etc.

I do not understand why heatpacks should spawn in hospitals, it is not a medical item. They should spawn in stores, deer stands, military tents and houses. With the highest probability in deer stand, then stores then tents and then houses.

I dont like that player bodies are being deleted so fast. It changes the dynamics to something more stale and worse forcing players to either kill other players or to go focus on loot locations more. 1. It makes life much easier for "bandits", no sign of their deed after 15 minutes which gives no warning to anyone entering the area. 2. No happy surprises for survivors coming onto more unfortunate survivors and making use of their gear. 3. The feeling of carnage and apocalypse will be less if there are no dead survivors around and will lower the immersion of the game. whats the logic behind this decision?

try this at moonless night with some clouds in the game gamma at 1.0 = unrealistic darkness not even able to separate the trees from the sky gamma at 1.4-1.6 realistic darkness with sky "shimmering" and you see the skyline and object between it but you cannot see objects below skyline

You should probably stop playing it until it's out of ALPHA. and maybe you should stop being a dick im aware the game is an alpha but the latest issues are quite severe in comparison to the previous alpha state

Russia (western) is almost at the same timezone as South Africa so chasing the daylight is not what they do. Some russians like server hopping at airports (cheating). thats the problem.

so the game is still not playable if you do not want to risk your current character due to patch bugs?

Sometimes my graphics driver crashes and I have to force quit out of the game. When I did it the last time today I was unconcious when I logged back in. Is this the punishment for forcequitters when they had PVP death? if so it needs to be adjusted to it does not punish those with technical problems.

SUCH AS BANDAGING AND EATING AND SHIT now this change is just stupid... making the interface worse should not be a planned part of the update.... why create artificial obstacles to the interaction? whats next timed key (quicktime events) presses to apply bandage properly? will we have to play a minigame of opening the canned food when we want to eat? or find the hidden object minigame when we want something out of our backpack? also, what do I hear about wood only being available at farms? surely wood should be available in forests.

then you should contact Bohemia not day z devs

they did a reset and all players were teleported back to the coast, that is why you are near elektro. why you have different weapon now I do not know but hey, its an alpha also, day z is a mod and not a game you purchased. also buying cd-keys from key selling sites is a legal grey area and might get you in trouble

I sorry but I have to disagree with this statement. As a regular player I have noticed on the contrary that on some servers I get in the game very quickly and on some I have to wait forever. So trying another server actually often gets me into the game faster instead of waiting 15 minutes or more if I am unlucky.

Anyone being able to play Day Z with the latest beta patch? It appears the beta patch version does not start Combined Operations but just OA. Is there any way to change this? Have tried launching OA and selecting Combined Ops first but that did not help. If I run the official version of OA (combined ops) Day Z works without any problem.

everything is laggy in the new SE4 server. inventory, zombies dying, people moving etc. also viewing distance is really low for some reason. maybe the server is not up to the task? I live in sweden by the way so this lag should not appear at all

another bad experience, now on SE2 one unannounced server reset and on reconnect I had lost a majority of my inventory and it was now suddenly in the middle of the night 20 minutes later as I had crawled around a zombie infested town trying to get stuff there was another unannounced server reset. not a good experience

just killed my 10hour+ character by accidentaly clicking respawn when I was going to select options. this really needs a "Are you sure you want this character to die" confirmation window before it just kills you... :(:(:(

allow some servers to have persistance only on that server maybe? ie peristant data and items only stays on that server as well as the character would also make the "local server" community less anonymous and in some ways the gameplay "world" more dynamic
