I found a plate carrier last night

I found a Xbow but did not pick it up as I have no use for it

I just started playing the game for the first time. I found a rifle, a pickaxe, machete, canteen, backpack...but oh my I can't find food! Die of starvation! what a way to go

thanks guys for the tips. Since meeting up with schwaBAM in game, showing me a couple things and hooked me up with a canteen such, I am pretty set to survive minus getting shot at LOL....so far been playing in less crowded server, trying to figure out all the function like loading clip onto a gun LOL..took a few minutes Oh..I found 3 can openers in one spot!!! LOL who need some? I have mosin with ammo, 1911 with ammo, axe, and hunting knife as weapon, and raincoat (found a black one later so I don't have to stand out like a sore thump with yellow jacket!), enough food and water. I keep eating or drinking whenever I found anything.

I then decided to head inland to see what I could stir up. So now that I had all of the items I need to cook properly, I decided to go hunting. A couple opportunities passed of elk running in the distance but with them going at mach 90, I decided to just head in that direction at my own pace. I made my way into an unknown town and scared this bugger (see pic below) into getting stuck perfectly in the fence. Instead of shooting him, I was able to stab him with my knife to take him down. See the image below: With that done, I cooked the meat in my pristine pot and decided to head NE. The compass was incorrect again (I don't know why I am a surprised), and I ended up NW somehow. I recognized some towns and made my way east only to get lost again. I ran into two survivors along the way, one which aimed his weapon at me (in which I turned and ran and told him I would leave him alone -- he didn't fire). The other survivor and I exchanged some words before he gave me some directions, which led me to Dubrovka. From there I was able to find the coast and make my way to Berezino. I camped out there for a bit and decided to log until a friend came online. Overall, nothing crazy happened. It's nice having these days.. ya thanks for the stuffs man...it was another good find after I logon later around 12.30am. I found a Mosin not too far from where we left last time...also, found a lot foods, so no more starvation! ....Now i need to find the ammo. On top of that I found the M44 Compensor for the Mosin as well prior me find that Mosin

maybe ...have you run it at can you run it site yet? I don't think Dayz supports Mac yet, if you do, you need to run a parallel OS

Hi all, I finally build a gaming PC for the first time. I have been using laptop for gaming for the longest time. Yes, been around the block. Played D2 LOD :), CS, D3, then Insurgent. Just bought this game after been hearing about it. I live in Northern Virginia.

cheers mate...how do find people in the game LOL...steam? teamspeak? etc? I think that's the one...then again who I am kidding..LOL Also, when you get hit or hungry or lose some blood does your screen get slightly blurry?

build a pc..it's cheaper and you get better parts and joy out of it. Make it to a project if you have little brother, child or whatever that you can learn to build together. let me know if you want some part put together and tell me your budget and what you already have ...monitor, OS etc

I just started playing so I have no prior experience on the previous releases. The zombies do no go through the wall or door immediately But they do go through eventually. They do detect pretty good as well!

to be honest...i have no idea. It was industrial looking area with silos and such. Also, I have no idea what server was that either...I know is a public server
