How do you craft a padlock? Anyone got a link to a wiki for base building?

You don't craft them, you loot them at castles. -
I love the base building. I use small bases to store vehicles and hide my loot in stashes under trees. Does anyone know what exactly will take down a wall?

Does the regular dayz mod require maintenance on walls to prevent decay? Are walls a part of the vehicle count?

Is there a list of the new spawn locations? I understand vehicles may not spawn on next restart like before but I don't know of any new spawn spots.

Anyone heard of an issue of walls showing up on vehicle count and preventing actual vehicle re-spawn? A couple servers I play on think this is happening.

Zedland is a great server, basically vanilla but with a few more vehicles; I think its like 7 choppers and 48 cars/bikes/atvs. It has a good crowd of regular players, and daylight until 3:00 am US central time; which makes it great for late night gaming when most other servers get dark at 11:00. -
Sorry if this is a little off topic but desperate for an answer on padlock spawn. I have searched almost 50 hours now and cannot find one. I really want to build a base, does anyone have any info on places to look for one. BTW, thanks for adding the new awesome features and getting the temp system working, it add so much to this mod!

Anyone have info on padlock spawns? I was told they spawn in the castles/ruins. Can anyone confirm? Thanks from a guy who really wants to build a base

But what about padlocks? I have over 30 hours in looking for one. I have been checking industrial and farm mostly, any advice on getting a padlock would be much appreciated.
