Everytime I switch my resolution ingame from 1600x900 to any res (no matter what res i've tried them all) I am forcefully tabbed out. If I want to get back in DayZ I need to close DayZ first. However I can't relaunch the game without setting -window in my launch options or messing with the notepad to reset my resolution to 1600x900. The reason I want to lower my resolution from 1600x900 is running DayZ with 40 fps out in fields but 5-6-20 fps when in or around cities. Therefore I am trying to seek a lower resolution to amend the fps drops. However everytime I edit my resolution I am forced out and haven't found a way to fix this for a month (countless google searching and DayZ forum searching yet i've found nobody else with the same problem). For those who ask I have performed the following tasks and had no success. - Uninstalled DayZ twice. - Edited res in notepad. - Tried system restore to point where it actually worked (Yes there was a point in time where I played with lower res and it didn't forcefully tab me out. I literally woke up the next morning and this irritating bug appeared). - Started DayZ with launch option "-window" and with desired resolution then setting to fullscreen. Something I noticed which was weird during several attempts at fixing. I can start DayZ in any desired res but only in windowed mode but when setting to fullscreen I am faced with the issue as stated above. Therefore I am led to believe this is some sort of fullscreen related issue. Also the reason I don't like to use windowed mode is that I get bad fps with a lower res than decent fps with a high res. For whatever reason I am unware. If anyone has had a similar experience even if not 100% accurate to my description i'd still love to hear your techniques on fixing your problem to see if it may help me (in some way).
