    Thanks for the quick help guys! @jmbftw : I made a new steam account and it asks me to purchase the game but the reason I am asking this is because under arma 2, it says I can play even though Its a new steam account. I just wanted to make sure my 35$ would be well spent and not in vain. Thanks! @BigMike : And what I am looking to do is have 2 character saves on the same hive. I am well aware of private, 1st, 1st/3rd hives. Thank you for your input!

    Hey there! I'm attempting to purchase 2 copies of dayz standalone in order to have 2 characters with different loot. I have seen many popular dayz streamers and youtubers do this so I am assuming that it is aloud. Could someone be kind enough to guide me through the process of doing this? I have already made a new email and steam account for the purchase. Thanks!
