Hey folks, been enjoying DayZ for over a month now and it just keeps getting better and better. DayZ prides itself on being hardcore which is why I keep coming back to it time and time again but one aspect of it has left me a bit disappointed which is in how death is handled. Currently all you do once you bite it is effortlessly disconnect and reconnect, nothing more to it. I suggest that for a player to properly realise how vital survival is and to make sure it's always their number one priority you should prevent players from joining a server for at least 24 hours after they have been killed. I personally think a 48 hour cool-down before you can rejoin a server would be more suitable. The possible 'game' justification for it could be that 48 hours is how long it would take for a corpse to rot away. Of course it would prbly be closer to two weeks for a corpse to rot away but I think that would be a bit too long before you can play again. I feel this would be a good idea way to punish reckless mistakes made by new players. What do you guys think?
