I was actually just going to create a thread about this and I agree. Zombies do not run all around and climb up ladders and open doors. They try and break down doors but in any movie, the are slow as hell. The zombies in the game move to rapidly and jerk all over the place which make it impossible to shoot them without fully auto or waiting until they are up on you. Honestly I do not know why rocket would want to make zombies run inside buildings. This game would be lame if he did that. With zombies chasing you, you cannot change weapons or bandage yourself without running into a building to buy you a bit more time.

get used to it. nothing can be done. its the script kiddies that enjoy ruining it for everyone.

I have numersous screenshots of servers and users in locked servers with 2 people in them. I can't upload the screenshots as i get a 413 request to large error.

Is battleye going to do another mass script ban? It seems the nuke script and ammo crate scripts are rampant again.

You can't roll back your inventory. It is saved clientside. HUH? no it isn't, inventory is saved in the dayz hive. (master server)

And how exactly do you know who it is? Seeing as how I was on a server with the admin and dayz server dev they couldn't even tell exactly who caused it. It shows nothing in the logs but errors. If you are just banning the last person that joined, you sir are banning the wrong people.

That was me you are talking about and no I didn't kill the server. I ran you over because you were trying to steal our vehicle. EVERYTHING in the server is now gone, so why would I do this to the server I always play on? This seems to have hit multiple servers at the same time.

I just wanted to get feedback before I submitted a bug report that this isn't supposed to happen. I noticed the following below. I am a new player but from the tutorials and posts I have read, I don't think these are supposed to happen. - Zeds climb deerstand ladders. If you are in a deerstand and a zombie notices you he will hang out below. Once I get on the ladder and start going down. The zombie gets on the ladder and goes up. - Zeds open doors. Sometimes they just go through the door leaving it closed. - Zeds outside of buildings can hurt you, if you are near them but inside the building. - Zeds will run through fences. White being chased by 3 zombies I ran over (did the little hurdle thing) over a horse fence (the white ones with with one bar going across the top). I did this to try and lose them so after I went over I used ALT to look behind me and noticed they were doing a stand still run motion then just popped through them. From what I understand, they are supposed to have to find away around the fences. Can anyone else confirm these are issues before I submit them?

I'm confused about the chat modes. I was in the colorado server and it has side chat enabled. I then got disconnected as it timed out and when I reconnected I could see others using side chat but I only had the group (might as well remove this for dayz) vehicle and direct. I couldn't use side chat. Why? Also it seems like direct is broken. Do both users need to be on the direct channel to hear each other? With a person standing right next to me they cannot see my chats or hear me.

Agree, if you notice everyone is already zombies. If you were strong enough to survive then you evidently had help (side arm, food, water, medicine). The old starting out kit was perfect. Now starting out with a flashlight but nothing else is pretty retarded and makes me not want to play the game. especial in this 1.7.1.4 patch where zombies see you miles away and come and rape you. Gotta think logically, you survived the zombie apocalypse with nothing but a flashlight... wtf?

Well I have the latest patch and so did the server before i got disconnected and we were all using side chat. This server has had side chat on for as long as i can remember.

Since the 1.7.1.4 update I noticed that doing a crouch run in grass brings in zombies from a while away that were behind buildings so couldn't see you. before in 1.7.1 this didn't happen. It now seems doing a full run brings in zombies from other cities. Pretty sure with all the dead cells that zombies have they aren't that good at hearing to pin point you. Not to mention I have never seen a zombie do a sprint on the walking dead and we all know that show is based on facts!

So I was playing just fine with the 1.7 patch last night on colorado 32 - 3 and when I joined today it said it was upgraded to 1.7.1 and my screen was black. I could see the Gear and HUD, but not the textures or anything. I then upgraded to 1.7.1 and still the same thing. I joined another server that was veteran and it worked fine. Is something on the server bad or is it me?
